Rip is evil, he got brainwashed by that dick Eobard and now he keeps shooting all the people I know and trying to kill them.

[ barry forgets the dig, closing his eyes and then pinching the bridge of his nose. eobard thawne has stretched himself across time and space, and seems to have touched a lot of people barry knows. ]

Okay. [ releasing his nose and opening his eyes, barry seems to focus. ] I have no idea how to undo that, but I've worked with Thawne. He was Wells at the time, but he was still ... himself. Maybe I can help somehow.

Okay, here's the deal. I think the nerds on my team can handle this whole Rip situation but Eobard? Let's talk about him a little.

[Because Mick just made a literal deal with the devil and that asshole just rewrote his whole existence. He needed to stop Eobard, somehow, he just had no idea how.]

That was the Thawne who impersonated Wells. The one you're dealing with is a different headache altogether. What's he told you about himself?

[Usually he's not down for the happy social times but hey, he kind of needed to get more information on Eobard and his greatest enemy, the Flash, who apparently beat him before, seemed like the best place to start.
