Then it dawns on him.

He knows what he must do.

He needs to put on these clothes and show everyone how fashionable he looks.

So, the video opens to a skeleton wearing some very cool clothing. He's even written down the words 'COOL DUDE' on the T-shirt! Look at how cool he is!]

PEOPLE OF WONDERLAND!!! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, HAVE FINALLY COME TO DEBUT MYSELF! UH...AGAIN. APPARENTLY THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I'VE BEEN HERE IN WONDERLAND?? I DON'T REMEMBER THE LAST TWO TIMES. BUT ANYWAY, THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT!

WHAT IS IMPORTANT, HOWEVER, IS MY NEW STYLE!!! LOOK AT WHAT I GOT FROM A WEIRD PRESENT I FOUND OUTSIDE MY DOOR!!! NEW CLOTHES!!!

[He's not going to say outright that he's stoked to be wearing some new clothes that aren't regal regalia, but his expression is showing that he's over the moon with happiness.

Is it a good thing being here? He can't tell which is better, between their lives back home and here. But he can't deny there's a bit of relief when he sees Ishimaru around, selfish as it was. [ That doesn't actually bother him. In fact, he knows he should quit this act already ー but a part of him wants a reason to keep a distance still, for Ishimaru's safety, too. ]

...ACTUALLY, ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS SANS TOLD ME WAS THAT HE WASN'T THE SAME SANS THAT'S IN MY TIMELINE. HE'S ACTUALLY A SANS FROM A DIFFERENT TIMELINE.

[He stops for a moment, then gives Mondo a small smile.]

BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER, BECAUSE HE'S STILL MY BROTHER. SURE, WE BOTH CAME FROM DIFFERENT TIMELINES, BUT THAT'S WHERE THE DIFFERENCES END!! HE'S STILL LAZY AS ALWAYS AND TELLS HORRIBLE PUNS AND SLACKS OFF LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS, JUST LIKE USUAL. IT FEELS VERY SIMILAR, EVEN THOUGH I KNOW THAT OUR ENDINGS BEFORE WE GOT HERE ARE VERY DIFFERENT.

[ Papyrus's words strikes a chord within him. They sound... familiar.

Immediately falling silent, the tearful words of his 'brother' reemerges from within, resounding in his mind. "N-no... no matter what... no matter what...!! There is no version of Mondo Oowada who is not my brother!!" ]

[ He bites down his lip, looking visibly upset. ]

...Y, you think so? Wouldja still feel the same even if your brother's done something so fucked up he can't take back anymore? Even if he's a criminal? [ His perpetual look of annoyance slowly breaks to a much more vulnerable one then, carefully voicing out each word. ] ...A... murderer?

[Even if his brother has done something completely and utterly unforgivable, like murdering someone...he doesn't even skip a beat.]

THAT DOESN'T MATTER TO ME. WELL, I MEAN, YEAH, IT DOES MATTER IF HE HAPPENS TO KILL SOMEONE, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I'D NEVER SPEAK TO HIM AGAIN!! AND, IF HE DOES HAPPEN TO KILL SOMEONE...I WOULD HELP HIM BECOME A BETTER PERSON. I KNOW THAT HE'S TRYING ANYWAY, BUT IN CASE HE FALLS BEHIND, I'LL BE RIGHT THERE TO PICK HIM BACK UP!!

WE'VE JUST...WE'VE ALREADY BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH TOGETHER, I DON'T THINK I COULD EVER LEAVE HIM. EVER.

[ The more Papyrus talks, the more overlaps he finds between the words his 'brother' Ishimaru uttered to him and what Papyrus is saying. ]

But what if your brother's got no control to that? What if... you don't get spared from the danger too?

[ And because of that, without thinking much, he begins to demand more answers that he really should ask from Ishimaru instead of Papyrus. ]
