Hello, glorious citizens of Wonderland! It seems a lot of us have gotten mysterious gifts from an equally mysterious RQ, and it's such a tantalizing state to be in, isn't it?

[He delicately nudges a bud, untangling it from another leaf so that it can stand out prominently.]

And what a fitting gift this is for me! Flowers for a star! But not just a simple bouquet, oh no; a potential unending supply of beautiful white roses, just for me!

[He moves the pot to the forefront of the camera and lets it take up the whole frame so all its details are on display.]

I don't know who this RQ is but clearly they have excellent taste in being such a big fan of mine. I love you too, RQ!

[Mettaton then pops back into frame and blows a kiss to the camera. Presumably for this RQ he is talking about; how embarrassing.]

So! My question to you all is: now that I am done showing this off, what should I do with it? Should I plant this bush in the gardens for everyone to see? Maybe erect a plaque on it so everyone knows it is mine? Or should I keep it here and put it in a bigger pot to lavish my room in more elegance? Oh~! The possibilities!

I would suggest planting it- however, if you are going to be so insufferably smug about it, it may be more prudent to simply burn it.

Hold off on planting it for a moment, my friend. A few of us have been speculating that this "RQ" person may be, in fact, the Red Queen herself.

Going off the logic in which these gifts are based on Lewis Carroll's novel, I think that rosebush may need some... Alterations first. If you would allow me to explain.

[Kanji has always had mixed feelings about Mettaton-- he's nice enough, but he's always so over-the-top that he's just not sure how to take him. Still, they're friendly, and this mystery gift thing is hitting people across the board-- he feels like he should reach out.]

It's bothering the shit outta of Mondo, and he gotta say something. He's never seen anyone so drunk in himself like that.

...Oh wait. He sort of had. Not so openly like this, though. He can't tell which is worse.

In the video, you'll find an angry teenager sporting a splendid ~~corncob~~ pompadour, glaring so hard you'd think he's got some stick up his ass. Nah, he's got some suggestion, that's all. ]

[Mettaton pauses in his quiet cooing over the bush to give the device he has propped a small look of alarm.]

The Red Queen? She exists? I thought we only had the Queen of Hearts?

[At the last of Dorian's words, Mettaton pouts a little and puts a protective arm around the small bush.]

It depends on what alterations there need to be made.

Logically speaking yes. After all, we did see the White Queen in some form around Christmas last year.

Perhaps someone received some paint we could use?

Gardening is not my forte, but it is not just a lone flower. I highly doubt that it will do well unless it is planted.

If you do something like that, however, then I will just destroy the bush and plaque myself from my window. I do not think that anybody will want to see whatever ridiculous eyesore you will erect as a monument to yourself.

[Mettaton takes a moment to fluff up the leaves on the bush before turning to look at the camera. He opens his mouth to say something but stops, blinks, and then tries again.]

Darling, I can't decide if that hair of yours is a bold fashion choice or a horrifying growth consuming your own head. Could be 50/50. Regardless, I am completely fine!

[He grins, peering at the camera more.]

Mm, I don't think I have seen you before though? And I would remember someone with such a distinct hairdo.

All right. Should I put it in a better pot or out in the gardens?
