So they say. Though then everyone reminds me that we don't ever know. Also, some say you can lose them if you trade with the vendor's, but even I'm not foolish enough to try that.

I've thought about it. But...ultimately I don't think I am, either. Even though it's kind of tempting.

Not to be rude, or ask too much, but are there so many horrible things in your memories you would risk that to losing the good ones you might actually lose?

Maybe it would be worth it to get a cure for something I don't want to have any more.

Now that is understandable. Though with all those who have magic, and skills, and intelligence from different worlds, have you tried to see if anyone here can fix that before you gave up so much?

That would mean having to poll Wonderland at large to find that person. Which tells people I have something to hide and I'm not ready to expose what's happening to me to just any random person.

You could do so anonymously, perhaps? Find a way to disguise yourself? Though understandable to not want to. It seems the place feels on the verge of a witch hunt. Which is not even remotely humorous to me. Someone is pushing for a literal one in America in my world. Is there a generic way of wording it perhaps, and then if you find someone that might be able to help you could feel them out about the details?

I do, and while I never finished schools, I've been working in the field for years now. For the Ministry of Magic.

There are always limits, but that depends in what way. I would never enacting a killing curse. No matter how angry or deserving they might.

What about bringing people back from the dead? What are the magical rules on that?

[ So, that's a pretty big hint, but at this point, she's blown through two bottles of liquor and it's finally hitting her zombie tolerance. So, her filters are somewhat off. ]

Depends on how you're seeking to do it. As inferi, which is close to what many call zombies here is highly frowned upon and punishable. Raising them from the dead as they do here though? NO one has mastered that. We haven't found a way to reunite the soul with the body.

What about say, someone trying to use magic to cure the zombies? You know, like the kind that come here all the time?

I don't know for certain, but that is a positively interesting question. It would not only mean possibly helping any here, but also a chance to maybe end an event without killing them here. In case the people they bring here as zombies are victims like we are. We just don't know.
