Greetings. This is Toriel.
So... we have gotten quite a distressing warning from Alice. We do not know quite what it means yet, but I think that we should take it seriously.
I am putting this message out firstly to alert those close to me, but it may be helpful advice to others as well. It may be a good idea to stick together, and ensure that everyone's location is known at all times.
Chara, Asriel, Frisk- please, do not wander off. If you need to leave your room for any reason, please do not do so without letting others know where you are and how long you will be gone. Also, if you are alright with it, I would prefer that you allow either me, Miss Shepard, or someone else that you trust to accompany you.
By the way, Miss Shepard- how would you feel about staying in my room for a few days, until this passes over? Your room is quite a distance away after all, and if things go wrong I would not want you to be too far away where we may be unable to reach you.

... Okay, point. Uh. Sorry.
[She coughs to clear her throat, and continues.]
I think I'm mostly worried about leaving all my stuff back here. My armor and my weapons. They've got cases here. I guess I could move them to the Mako? Actually, hey, we ever need a go plan, that's a pretty good one. It won't be comfortable, but we'd fit.
video
I do not care for weapons or violence at all, but... Wonderland seems intent on making them necessary, and providing us with adversaries who cannot be reasoned with or understood.
If you think you can get to them if you leave them in the Mako, then that is fine. That said, however, moving into a tank seems like it is just a few steps more paranoid than I am willing to go right now!
[She's saying it with a joking tone, but... Toriel's already hordeing meals and being unreasonably watchful and aware of the kid's actions and positions at all times. She already feels crazy enough without living in a tiny cramped weapon of war.]
video
[She looks over her shoulder a bit towards her case for those, and then her closet, thoughtful.]
Is this a go bag survivalist sort of situation, or something more like a weekend trip, you thinkin'? I know you don't have more details than I do, but you sound like you have some idea of plans.
video
Really, it is kind of nice to be moving our relationship forward like this! I just wish it had not taken something so drastic to do it.
[She's mostly joking. It's easier to not worry about things when she's teasing/flirting with her girlfriend.]
Hmmm... Well, a little of both, I suppose? We are going to be keeping a very close eye on each other, and the kids, but until things actually get ah, started... there is not much to do but wait and enjoy our time together.
video
Jeez, Tori, you wanted me in your bed all you had to do was ask.
[Still, Shepard stands and starts moving, keeping the call on as she starts assembling clothes and supplies.]
Mostly I'm trying to figure out how much food I should be stocking. Alice told me the mansion wasn't supposed to be changing to a new environment, so chances are we'll still have access to the kitchen even if the closets don't work.

[Toriel gets a look of concentration on her face, as she starts messing with her phone- taking a bit longer than she probably should, but making the video private, because they're getting into some pretty child-inappropriate territory here now.]
Okay! As I was saying- believe me, Jane, I will be asking quite a bit!
...Hm. Moment kind of passed somewhat, didn't it.
Oh well. I will just have to work to create many more moments with you in the future!
[Wink.]
Do not worry about food- I have already decided to prepare enough meals to last us a week. Last year, around this time, Wonderland provided us with tainted candy, and we do not know that it may not do that again. There are no guarantees that we can trust the food we get from the kitchen or closets, so I think it will be safer to get things now.
video- private
Wow, you've really got this thing on lock. The food sitch, I mean, not the flirting, but I'm no better, so.
[Still one less thing she needs to worry about. She'll get some cans, though, just in case.]
Alright, though, that's one thing covered. I assume you've got the basics of flashlights, batteries, water?
video- private
[Centuries upon centuries of it, nonstop, embarrassing everyone in the entire kingdom.]
Water, yes, batteries and flashlights, no. I am honestly still a bit new to the concept of electricity, and tend to default to more low tech solutions, so that did not even occur to me as something which may be necessary.
Light also does not seem like an important thing to stock up on when you can magically produce flames, of course.
video- private
True, but you can't hand off those flames. The kids and I are gonna need something if we get seperated. Plus, a good flashlight doubles as a fantastic blunt force weapon if necessary.
[Probably not what Toriel wants to hear, but it's safer than handing them a knife or a gun.]
video- private
[Plastic might be incredibly deadly to monsters with the proper motivation behind it, but for other things, she's not sure if it'd be very helpful.]
...And besides. For Chara, at least, there is little chance that they will not have a knife on them to use. I do not know if they know that I know, but they most certainly will have one should a fight break out.
video- private
[She does just kind of... nod, at that last bit, though.]
Yeeeeeah. I mean. Yeah. I'm cool with just letting them keep that if it makes them feel better. They're pretty good with it, too, so.
video- private
Really, it is not the idea of them using it in self defense that bothers me the most.
[She... doesn't really want to get into it more than that, but. She trusts that Shepard knows.]
video- private
[It's a little hard for her not to sympathize, considering Toriel has said before what her experience was before getting here.]
They're practiced. And... I've only seen them use it in self defense lately. The best we can do is be there for them until they don't need it, you know?
