Greetings. This is Toriel.
So... we have gotten quite a distressing warning from Alice. We do not know quite what it means yet, but I think that we should take it seriously.
I am putting this message out firstly to alert those close to me, but it may be helpful advice to others as well. It may be a good idea to stick together, and ensure that everyone's location is known at all times.
Chara, Asriel, Frisk- please, do not wander off. If you need to leave your room for any reason, please do not do so without letting others know where you are and how long you will be gone. Also, if you are alright with it, I would prefer that you allow either me, Miss Shepard, or someone else that you trust to accompany you.
By the way, Miss Shepard- how would you feel about staying in my room for a few days, until this passes over? Your room is quite a distance away after all, and if things go wrong I would not want you to be too far away where we may be unable to reach you.

[Like, if it's a zombie event, or something...]

[Honestly, the idea of suggesting the kids go off somewhere distant and spread out seems... profoundly unsafe. Toriel's going to attribute it to Jane's extensive history in the military though, and thinking of this with military tactic.]
Until we know what it is that we are dealing with, I think that we should stay together. If we do need some space, then we will find a way to get it. That way, we will be able to let each other know where we are going to be, if and when we spread out.
If you can think of a better place for us to stay where we will still be together and still be able to see each other, I am open to suggestions! Still, though- I assume we will have to go to sleep at some point. And if that is the case, and this thing happens while we are asleep, I do not enjoy the idea that you may be stranded 3 floors away from us.
video
... Okay, point. Uh. Sorry.
[She coughs to clear her throat, and continues.]
I think I'm mostly worried about leaving all my stuff back here. My armor and my weapons. They've got cases here. I guess I could move them to the Mako? Actually, hey, we ever need a go plan, that's a pretty good one. It won't be comfortable, but we'd fit.
video
I do not care for weapons or violence at all, but... Wonderland seems intent on making them necessary, and providing us with adversaries who cannot be reasoned with or understood.
If you think you can get to them if you leave them in the Mako, then that is fine. That said, however, moving into a tank seems like it is just a few steps more paranoid than I am willing to go right now!
[She's saying it with a joking tone, but... Toriel's already hordeing meals and being unreasonably watchful and aware of the kid's actions and positions at all times. She already feels crazy enough without living in a tiny cramped weapon of war.]

Worst thing that's ever happened to him, huh. He wonders if this place could even come close. He'd like to see them try. The hellhounds were scary... but not the worst.]
I won't, mom. I'll stay close to Frisk and Chara.
video
[She doesn't think she has to worry about Asriel too much, though- always so meek and kind. Outside of when he's magically influenced to go running off into danger screaming about glory and honor. But she doubts something like that will happen again.]
video
[He has no idea what's going to happen and that's... really the most worrisome part about this place.]
Do you think that girl meant what she said?
video
Even if it turns out that she was not telling the truth... well, then that will not be a big deal! Things turning out better than expected is never a reason to complain.

[Alice's warning... ha ha. Halloween in Wonderland has already managed to be among the worst things that ever happened to Chara. Maybe this year, it'll once again punish the real Chara, not them. Is - is staying close to Frisk and Asriel really going to be protecting them, when Chara themselves was the most dangerous threat that could have possibly existed last time this happened?
They've got a bad feeling in the pit of their stomach. So naturally, they decide that clearly, they just obviously don't feel anything at all about it.]
More importantly than that... golly, a sleepover party with the Commander!
video
[She really, really hopes that Chara stepping up won't be necessary, though. That shouldn't have to be a burden that falls to them.]
That is a fun way to look at it, isn't it? Spending some time with Jane will certainly be nice, no matter what happens.
video
[They actually came dangerously close. Plus, you know, bluffing and bravado have always proven to be bulletproof coping mechanisms when something scary looms on the horizon. Yell loud enough that you're invincible, and somebody's gonna buy it eventually!]
You can just enjoy your little staycation with the Commander, Mom. Having a sleepover is supposed to be a real big step, isn't it? Are you going to show her your sock drawer?
[It takes mighty stones to try teasing your mom, but if it's not bluffing and bravado, it's laughing it off. See? They don't feel anything at all about what's looming ahead! They're more concerned with playful childish winks and nudges!]
video
[She's pretty sure they're trying to make a joke, but... she really is concerned. Very worried, about what might happen, and she doesn't want to have to worry about her kids any more than she has to, and she doesn't want to joke about that.
...Though, it does warm her heart quite a bit that they called her 'Mom'. It's something they do pretty rarely, after all.]
I think that what I do and do not show her is something that should stay between your Mothers, Chara.

[have a quick wave and a sense of panic. BUT she is not panicking, nope. tay's cool.]]
Yeah, excuse me, um—[heh.]—Hi, my name is Taylor. Some may refer to me as the New Kid on the block. [she lets out a short giggle.
but it's not funny.
...
moving on]
So, what exactly is so dangerous around here that we'd need to tuck ourselves away from it?
video
Well... some kind of event, I suppose? We do not know anything other than that right now.
You are familiar with events, are you not? Are you new here, miss?
no subject
And I do hear about these events, but there seems to be a dark cloud amongst any further information regarding said events. I just don't know enough, and I'm a fan of learning about something before I experience it, should that privilege be available to me.
no subject
It is a somewhat difficult question to answer, however. Events are... well, they can be anything really. In most cases, they are things taken from the memories of the inhabitants here. And apparently, most of Wonderland's inhabitants have been through or been to extremely dangerous things or places.
The next event could be anything. There is not really any way to know. However, many of them have resulted in people dying or going through very traumatic experiences- and we have been informed that the next one will be the worst one yet.
So, I think that a degree of caution and preparation is certainly warranted.

[They haven't told her the dream hanging transparent in their head, the one the Djinn worked into the texture of their mind. If they're lucky, she'll never know it was there at all.]
What if we're taken somewhere else?
video
If we are, then we will have to find each other again. Immediately.
There are no guarantees, though. Just because we may be taken elsewhere, does not mean that we should not prepare for if we are not.
video
[They always can.]
Okay.
If our phones still work, we can try and find each other anyway.

But yeah, stickin' together might be a good idea! [Then, though, Undyne looks sort of nervous, as if it's hard for her to say what comes next.] I know the Royal Guard is a thing of the past, but... I can at least do what I can.
[Not that "what she can" would be saying much, honestly, in Undyne's opinion.]
no subject
That is very generous of you, Undyne! I would certainly appreciate any help, if this turns out to be something where strength will be necessary.
[After all, monsters like them... aren't that strong on their own. Toriel will do what she can, but if it turns out they need to fight- well, she's just glad she has a badass super strong girlfriend who doesn't have a body made of flimsy magic and dust.]
no subject
[She should probably keep an eye on Alphys, too. Would that be too forward?]
I'm out of practice, but I've still got enough left in me to help out! Anyway, I know most of the names you mentioned, but who's Shepard? Someone else from home?
