Hey, Wonderland.

I know some of you were super excited to see Superman around, but... he went home a few days ago.
I waited a little while to say anything, because I figured he might come back, but he hasn't.

Wiccan was looking to put together a team of superheroes here in Wonderland, too.
Does anyone have any good ideas for a team name? I guess "Super Friends" isn't cool enough. I think I'll make a poll later with the best ones.
And do any superheroes out there maybe want to join in?

I'm glad I at least got to meet him - I'm not sure I ever could have done that back home.

[ She hurriedly gathers some things before heading upstairs. She has to knock on the door by kicking it, her hands holding a tray loaded with some small, potted plants and some plant food. ]

( the door opens easy enough--a clutter of toys all over the ground near the doorway and a bit further in towards the balcony is a fenced off area leading out the door containing seventeen puppies, most of whom are currently napping peacefully while a few of them play around. jon takes a step back, giving her plenty of space to come in while kicking some of the miscellaneous action figures behind his feet back. )

Hey! You brought plants?

Yeah! It's a thing my dad and I used to do back when I lived at home, and I thought I'd share the wealth, so to speak. [ She steps inside, blinking in surprise at all of the puppies. ]

On the other hand, you might have enough on your hands. How did you get so many puppies?

A while ago, puppies were just falling from the sky in some guy's room! So I went over and I took the puppies home, and I was going to find them other homes eventually but Damian, my friend, insisted we keep them all. And I guess no one grows here? 'cause they're still small and it's been a while. .

( jon raises both of his own hands up fast enough though, offers to take some of those plants from her hands. )

I like plants, thanks! I'd be happy to keep them. Promise I can handle them and the puppies.

Lucky guy! The puppies are adorable!

[ She accepts his help with the plants and follows him inside. ] Some of my best memories of home are helping my dad in the flower shop. It's really great to be able to take care of things, and flowers are great because all you need to do is give them a little love and care, and they bloom for you to show you how happy they are.

You can pet them if you want!

There's Clarkie and Brucie and Lo and Rae and Grayson and Hallie, Dia, Godzilla, Rufus, Beastie, Kallie, Sparky, Dami, Kong, Allie, Railey, and Kori.

( the names roll off as he moves to find a nice, flat surface to put the plants on, setting them down on top of his dresser and gesturing for her to set her load down beside them--high enough the dogs can't jump up, low enough jon can still reach them on his feet. )

[ Who could ever resist puppies? As soon as she sets the plants down, she makes a beeline for them, sitting among them and laughing as they run over and swamp her. ]

Goodness! How do you keep them all straight?

( they're all friendly puppies, climbing over her and licking at her--some nibble a little, but nothing that hurts. despite being an obnoxious bunch, they're fairly well trained. )

You get used to it!

( and the color-coded collars help a little. clarkie, lo, and dia all have blue, brucie, grayson, damie, and godzilla all have black collars with bat tags, hallie, kallie, kong, and rufus all have green. . etcetera. )

Well, I think you're super cool for taking care of them all.

[ She snuggles up with one of the puppies. ]

I bet your dad was impressed, too. I mean, I don't know you half as well as he did, and I'm really proud of you for doing all of this!

Hehe, it's. . um, it's no big deal? I took care of farm animals back home, so.

You do seem to have everything together.

[ Slowly, she gets to her feet again, awwing as the puppies continue playing around her. ]

I should probably head out, but is it cool if I come by and play with the puppies from time to time?

Yeah, of course! You're welcome to come by any time and play with them.

( the grin on his lips is wide enough to show teeth, head tilting back to look up towards her. )

You can just knock and call my name, I'll try to listen even if I'm not home.
