[Turing is sitting on their bed, which is...surprisingly very clean. It makes sense, their a ROM, they don't need to sleep. (But why do they have a bed in their room?)]

Good morning, Wonderland. I'm calling upon the network to ask a very...self-indulgent question.

I realize that many of the guests here have pets. If you do, may I see your pet? It doesn't matter if it's a video, image, even a text description. I would love to see your animal companions!

The reason here is two-fold. Firstly, I need a break from a current project I'm working on, but the second...I'd love to create a painting based off of the different pets that live here. I'm planning on showing off some paintings I've created the past few months onto the network again, and I feel that would be a fantastic subject to draw inspiration from.

I look forward to seeing your pets!

Ah, that post. I'm still not sure what to make of it, but I do appreciate a good cat meme. I think this one in particular is my favorite out of the bunch.

[They should probably find this S. Mason and thank them for the copious amounts of cat pictures. If...if they all are really from him in the first place. You can never tell with anonymous postings these days...]

What do you mean if you don't know if you have any pets? I would think that this is a straightforward question.

[Turing's eyes immediately widen and a series of rapid, happy boops and beeps emit from their system. So many dogs THIS IS AMAZING.]

I don't think I've seen that many dogs all in one area! I assume that there must be a great story behind this - how on earth did you manage to procure so many dogs?

Uh--at one point there was like a whole in space? And puppies just kept coming through it! So I took them all in and I was going to find them homes, but my friend decided we needed to keep them, so. .

You could come play with them, if you want.

[Now this is something he can get behind. Of course 4 isn't enthused about being wrangled, but he's being a fairly good sport. Sans holds up a smallish black cat with a bent ear, who manages to look angry despite the fact that he's purring like a sawmill.]

[Oh, that's right! This must be Sans's cat, 4! They remember seeing a post wondering about 4's whereabouts about a year or so ago, so they're glad to see that he and his skeleton master are reunited.

In any case, he's a cute cat and Turing beeps happily at the sight of the kitty.]

It's 4! For a cat with such a piercing glare, they...really are enjoying being held? If the purring is any indication, that is.

oh, he's an ornery little jerk, but he loves being held. at least when he knows who's holding him.

[Alphys answers very excitedly, an adorable calico kitten tucked under her arm. It's sort of biting at it, but Alphys doesn't seem to notice or care.]

This is Mew Mew!! I've had her for more than a year now, but uh, p-pets don't really grow in Wonderland all the time, so...

[The kitten lets out a tiny mewl, and Alphys drops her into her lab coat pocket, where she sticks her head out and meows again.]

[Turing audibly gasps as they look at Mew Mew. Cue the excited and happy beeps!]

Doctor Alphys, I had no idea that you owned a cat! She is adorable!

[Seriously, they could just stare at Mew Mew forever.]

Huh, I never realized that, actually. I have heard that we don't age while we are in Wonderland, but the same also applies to pets here? I suppose it makes sense...in a way.

[She smiles, wide and pleased. Mew Mew continues to chill in her pocket, tucking herself a little further down with her tiny, fuzzy head still showing.]

Yeah! I've had Mew Mew for... m-more than a year now? I got her pretty early into my stay here, and uhm. Yeah, she just stayed small! I had to fit her in a tupperware once.

[Thanks, flooding event!]

It's weird to see some like... evidence of time not passing, though? Like, we don't see it in ourselves so much, but like... it makes me feel like I'm in a s-snowglobe or something? Does that make sense?

Uh, sure, hold on a second.

[Dan whistles to something off-screen and there's a clacking of paws on polished wood before he turns the camera around to focus it on his dog, who wags his tail and pushes his nose towards the device like he knows he's being watched.]

This one's mine. Oscar.

[Turing leans closer towards the screen, focusing all of their attention on Oscar. They emit a series of happy beeps from their system!]

Oscar is a very handsome dog!! What breed is he, if I may ask?

'E's uh... I ain't sure what breed he is. Or... was.

[They don't really have names for dog breeds anymore, in the radioactive wastelands. What they have are scrawny, near-hairless, feral things almost too skin and bone to be called dogs at all.]

'E's a cyberdog. Made in a lab.

[Little else is said, but Nathaniel sends a picture of a very cute little munchkin cat.]

[There's an audible gasp as Turing receives the picture of the munchkin cat. They feel like their heart is going to melt - metaphorically speaking, of course!]

How adorable! What's their name?

Her name is Delilah.

[And Nathaniel is a terrible excuse for a Ferelden in keeping her over a mabari, but he has his reasons.]

[ Lifting his beagle pupper up to his lap, he uses another hand to point the palm pilot their way. ]

His name's Komo.

[ Komo readily barks to the screen, as if greeting. ]

[What a cute beagle puppy!! Turing wonders for a moment if these pets can actually age, or if they are also stuck forever looking like the age they are.

...not that there's anything wrong with keeping a puppy forever, of course.]

Komo!! I don't believe I've seen a beagle here before - and what a smart dog, too, barking on cue!

My horse is down at the stables, but—

[ he can't show turing diggs, but he can show him rosie. and so he'll be turning the device's camera towards the roomba scurrying across the floor. that counts, right? ]

[You'd think that Turing would be offended seeing a robot cleaner being kept as a pet, but instead, they beam at little Rosie.]

Awww, they're adorable! I forgot how small and compact the older robot models are! Do they do a good job cleaning?
