I know everyone's on edge with the recent murder, but. Yeah. ( It doesn't have the same effect on her as it does most, but that's kinda cause she's fucked up and it's hard to shake her up at all. But she can feel everyone on edge, and no one seems to be close to figuring out what the hell happened, not that she's deep involved in investigating. She wanted to put up these boards cause there's a lot of stuff she wants to learn, and if she doesn't do it now, she won't ever do it. So here she goes. ) We're all stuck here, but maybe there's something you want to learn or you can teach others.

Like how to play the piano or violin, how to read or write or type, how to do first aid, how to paint or draw, or how to do cool science shit. Gardening, carpentry, sewing, cooking...

Something like that.

I put up these boards in the dining room so you can do that. This board's for offering up lessons. This board's for finding someone who can teach you what you want. Just... since there's a murderer around and it's either a mirror or one of us... or a resident, I guess, maybe make sure to schedule your lessons in a public place and tell someone where you're going.

And keep a weapon on you, and if you don't know how to use one of those, maybe seek some lessons in that. ( deep sigh before she mutters mostly to herself: ) I did a great fucking job selling this.

Getting lost in a good book is a favorite of mine, too.

[ She doesn't want to make Clementine feel like she's lacking in anything at all, so she tries to guess (based on knowing Michonne) how long its been since Clementine was in school. How long ago did the world end? Still, she doesn't want to be wrong and over-estimate it, so she tries to ask gently. ]

Do you remember what grade you were in before?

( Clementine smiles, because it almost seems strange to think back to, but she can- she does. She remembers curling up at a window seat with a book, reading and reading, wanting to tell her mother about what she was reading.

Wanting to live adventures like that. )

I finished 3rd grade. I was 8. I remember reading James and the Giant Peach and... The Phantom Tollbooth.

( she hasn't read a book- an actual book since then. )

Two incredible books. Would it be annoying of me to give you some recommendations now? Maybe we could even start by reading them together and talking about them.

It's not annoying when I want it. I want to know where to go from there. Hell, I barely remember reading those books. Whatever you want to suggest, count me in.

( It's strange to Clementine in all her time here, she's never thought to re-read any of the books she once loved. Maybe a part of her was afraid she wouldn't love them anymore. She wouldn't be able to connect to them anymore like that part of her died when that part of the world did, but-
