[ Good evening, Wonderland! Jessica's super perky and giggly. There's so much for her to be happy about! So now everyone gets to witness her trying to be a vlogger, because she is pointedly ignoring anything involving someone's dumb supernatural call out post. ]

There's so much romance floatin' around, I swear, and it's not even Valentine's Day. Not that I've ever known what it's like to be with someone 'round then, but whatever. [ She waves that off. ] People're gettin' married, it's sweater weather and time for cuddlin'... [ She sighs happily. ] It got me wantin' to read somethin' warm and happy for once.

[ She needed something to distract her from her burning desire for vengeance, okay? ]

But okay, so, I just started this series I've always being dyin' to read. Like, it didn't even occur to me that I could do it here! And now I can and it's so good.

[ Jessica's clutching the first book of said mystery series in her hands, the top of it just barely visible on screen. It's like she had to hug it a little to make her point. This shit's the best thing since sliced bread! ]

I know not everybody's from the same world, but somebody's bound to know about it, right? And I bet at least one person's read it, 'cause it's so popular. Like, it's a movie!

[ And so, the lion finally reveals to the lambs what book she means... ]

So, anybody read Twilight? I wanna talk with you all about it!

[ Yes. She is dead serious. ]

[ She snorts out a laugh. ] Don't say that! It makes you sound more appetizin'!

[ With an amused shake of her head, she puts her fangs away. ] Besides, I only bite with permission. If I even get to that point, anyway...

[ Her pickings were getting a little slim, lately. Two of her three blood donors were nowhere to be found now. Just her luck. ]

If we didn't have the closets, I'd be havin' a rough time.

[jamminshield]

[Steven giggles and then relaxes back into a casual posture.]

Aw, you're a polite vampire! [He chimes, and then he pokes at his chin thoughtfully.]

Oh, so that's how you keep yourself, um, fed. Those closets sure can be handy! I'm really glad you can get some food to go that easily.

[alsoagirl]

Well. [ She hunches her shoulders with a grin. ] Yeah. I try. Bein' the mean, scary kind doesn't seem to get me as far.

But, um, I--I dunno how well off I'd be if not for the closets. I'm still not the best at feedin' on people. And, like, I doubt many folks'd be offerin' themselves up, anyway...

[ There's a pause. ]

Am I gettin' gross? I feel like I'm gettin' gross.

[jamminshield]

No, no, it's not gross at all! [He waves his hands placatingly.]

W-well, I mean, blood isn't the most pleasant thing to think about, but... it's not gross to talk about things that are normal for you. It's okay!

[He pauses. There is something he feels he needs to clarify, so then he nervously goes on.]

...You know, I have a question. I'm sorry if this sounds insensitive, but... Is it like... if you- if you... feed on someone, does that... does that make the other person become a vampire too?

[alsoagirl]

Know what? I think you got a better head on you than most of the grown folk around here.

[ Jessica smiles, a bit sadly. Sure, there hadn't been an absurd number of people being hateful towards her in Wonderland, but she was especially sensitive to it, whenever it did happen. She wanted acceptance just as much as anyone else. ]

Don't worry 'bout bein' insensitive, okay? You go on and ask me whatever you want. [ She giggles and shakes her head. ] But no, it doesn't work that way. Least, not for me.

[ With a grimace, she blows out a breath. ] The process is a little more involved than that.

[jamminshield]

Aw, I don't think my head's that great, but thanks! [He says with a cheery smile.]

Oh! Okay. So then... [He pokes at his chin thoughtfully.] ...if that's the case... if you ever need some blood, you can have some of mine! I don't mind.

[alsoagirl]

[ She's almost starting to hate when people make that offer. It's the same as dangling a steak in front of a tiger's face, and Lord knows her first instinct is to want to immediately go hog wild and feast like the crazy vampire she's always trying to hold inside. Nothing would ever beat blood fresh from the tap.

But Jessica merely looks grateful, somehow managing to keep her true feelings hidden. Her last feeding experience had already gotten her into enough trouble. As much as she liked to project that she didn't care about what she did to Fitz, she totally did. ]

That's awful nice of you, Steven. Thank you. Maybe one day when I really, really need it, I'll take you up on that offer.

[ And she leaves it at that. Otherwise she'll be liable to scream how much she'd like for that day to be today. ]

[jamminshield]

[SORRY JESSICA! He's just worried and wants to make sure she has options! He keeps a friendly smile as he responds to her.]

You're welcome! I just want to do my part to help. Just let me know if - if it comes to that!

[alsoagirl]

I definitely will!

[ And just to make sure that time isn't immediately: ] I'm gonna talk to you later, okay? I got some...uh. I'm gonna go back to readin', okay? See you soon!

[ At that, she disconnects.

...Then immediately goes to her closet to get some blood. ]
