[It's been a long time since Regina addressed the network at large, but at this point? She has to. There's no way she can't.
As much as she hates the idea of doing what the Jabberwocky told her.
From the camera feed, it's obvious she's in the library - shelves behind her, books around her. Her expression is grim as she looks into the camera.]
Was anybody else lucky enough to run into the Jabberwocky during our little trip? Because it was in a rare mood for conversation.
[Not... exactly. But it had more words than she was expecting, given its nature.]
After an overly dramatic display of power, it came with a warning for us. [Regina swallows, shifting in her seat.] It's planning to feed. [A beat.] To feast.
[She's trying not to let on the fact that she's worried, despite the warning she brings. The warning itself will cause enough of a stir, there's no point adding to it more than she already has.]
Which isn't anything new, but at least we know it's coming this time.
[She ends it there, letting that information sink in.]

[The real one was a thing of nightmares, back home, something people spoke about in hushed whispers- glad that it never crossed into the Mundy with them. And now a version of it is here, and as ancient and fearsome a monster as Gren is, even he has reason to fear the Jabberwock. ]
Fan-fuckin-tastic. And the Queen's gone off with the only thing I know for sure can kill it. Unless I can convince the vendors to give up the vorpal sword from back home. Probably not. Ain't mine.
[But there's more important things to worry about.]
You okay? Did it hurt you?

[What Gren said about his own world makes her think, though.]
There's a Vorpal Blade in my world, too. It wasn't for killing the Jabberwocky - I don't think anything could kill her - but it trapped her.
no subject
[That's certainly the case with Bigby.]
Ours could definitely kill it. Could cut through and kill anything. They have it under strict lock and key in the Woodlands.

[If she were someone else, there might've been a wistful sight.]
Do you think it would actually help if we could get our hands on it?
no subject
[He shrugs.]
Maybe? I mean...shit, it's worth a try, ain't it? Even if it's just plan fuckin' B.

[Regina writes something down and then considers what Gren said.]
Even if it doesn't kill it, it should do something. ... We just have to make sure it doesn't eat it.

[He sure can't be what he once was, even if Bigby wasn't in the picture. The days of monsters that lurk in the shadows to devour the unwary are long gone. Progress, and all that. He had to adapt or go the way of the dinosaurs.]
Yeah, that'd be a fuckin' mess we don't want to deal with. Let's not make our lives any harder here than they already are.

[It's... sappy, but it is what it is.]
I have a few coupons for the vendors from previous Christmases. I never had anything I needed to use them on, so I just kept them. [A beat.] All for this, it seems.

[He gets it. If it weren't for Holly... well, he probably would have made a lot worse life choices and got himself thrown down the Witching Well by now. ]
I think I still got mine, too. From the last one. Guess they're finally useful for something.
no subject
[She hadn't, and the foundation of the very universe changed because of it. Funny how things work out.]
If you can try to get the Vorpal Blade from your world, I can try to get the one from mine. It won't kill the creature, but a good trap is something we're going to need.

[Not that he'd change it. Maybe he bitches and moans about the old days- but the new ones are still better than those.]
Yeah, makes fuckin' sense, right? Better doing that than fuckin' nothing. Give us half a goddamn chance.
