[ It’s noon, and Entranceway’s newest arrival is curious as fuck. She’ll be wandering about the gardens, snooping around the mansion, peeking in through windows, staring at the blue skies that make up the entrance hall’s ceiling, sniffing the food in the kitchen, and everything in between.

There are mysteries here, and Naoto Shirogane, ace detective, is on the case. If that means interrogating the shit out of anyone who crosses her path, so be it.

Eventually, she’ll find the communications system and, after spending a while figuring it out (it's not hard to find previous posts and others' conversations), she’ll send out a brief, private message: ]

It's got a lot of good reference materials.

[Since the library isn't far from the entrance hall where they had been, they reach it about now and Souji gets the door for Naoto.]

The fiction section is pretty huge too. I got lost once.

[ Naoto stares blankly at him for a moment before realizing that he's actually holding the door for her.

She tips the brim of her hat down to cover up that moment of dumbs. ]

Th-Thank you.

[ But then she's in the library, and...

Oh wow. Oh wow. ]

I... The tour's over. [ She can't help but wander over to the nearest shelf, running her fingers over each book. Looks like the philosophy section. She recognizes some of the names, but not all. ]

I think I'm going to be here a lot. [ I HAVE FOUND THE HOLY GRAIL. ]

Do you want me to go? [His tone is teasing, but he would never come between a Naoto and her books.]

[ THE HOLY GRAIL IS MINE. TAKE THAT, JAMES BOND. ]

No-- No, no, no! I'm just... Just being ridiculous. [ TAKE THAT LAURA CROFT. ]

It's just... Yasogami's library, nor Inaba's, was anything like this. I don't think I've ever encountered a library of this size. [ SIIIIGH. ]

[And Indiana Jones too, right?]

Me neither. Sometimes there are entrances on the second and third floor, too, but they come and go.

Is that commonplace? Things changing location like that?

[He looks around and makes a face.]

This place breaks a lot of the laws of physics.

That's what I'm starting to realize. It's almost similar to the TV world-- at least in the sense of it changing arbitrarily. Do you think there's a link between the two?

[That hadn't occurred to him before, and he's quiet for several minutes, considering the possibility.]

...Not directly. There are too many other people here who are unrelated to it.

[ While he thinks, she walks along side the book shelf, eyeing titles in half-interest. Like Souji, she's trying to draw connections between the TV World and Wonderland, and unfortunately for her hypothesis, she's coming up short. ]

What if it were the other way around? The TV World was an offshoot of this place? [ It seems unlikely, but all possibilities must be explored. ]

I think they're both separate worlds, but the TV World was related to our world directly. Wonderland isn't.

Wonderland is...a whistle stop.

I understand. Unfortunately, before I form any other hypothesis, I'll need to learn more about other worlds.

[ Pause. It's something that'll take time to prove, but there's no harm in saying it: ]

There must be some sort of connection between this world and others. The difficulty lies in working out what that connection actually is.

[He nods.]

[ And then she realizes that she's basically asking where he lives. Which is embarrassing. Which means-- ] That's... I mean, I ought to know. Just in case I need to get in touch with you, and you happen to have misplaced your communication device or... Well, something happens.

[He nods, only smiling a little.]

You never know what will happen. It's best if we know where to find each other.

I'm in room 100 on the sixth floor. Yousuke is in room 22 on the third floor.

[And no one cares where Adachi lives.]

I think I'll do that now, and spend some time going over my notes. It's... a lot to process.
