[ It’s noon, and Entranceway’s newest arrival is curious as fuck. She’ll be wandering about the gardens, snooping around the mansion, peeking in through windows, staring at the blue skies that make up the entrance hall’s ceiling, sniffing the food in the kitchen, and everything in between.

There are mysteries here, and Naoto Shirogane, ace detective, is on the case. If that means interrogating the shit out of anyone who crosses her path, so be it.

Eventually, she’ll find the communications system and, after spending a while figuring it out (it's not hard to find previous posts and others' conversations), she’ll send out a brief, private message: ]

[Understandable. Naoto was already doing her best in the first place (and she always did, as Minato knew) by exploring the area and inquiring about this world, like any good detective getting their bearings.

He nodded, and if she was okay with it, resumed walking with her again back toward the gardens. If they wandered too far, they would circle back to the Mansion, but he didn't think they'd do that while on this trek.]

... I might have something for you that'll help.

Hm? [ That's certainly got her curiosity. ]

You let me borrow your notebook the time you were here before. I'll give it back.

[Since he was done copying her notes over to his laptop and all already. He was glad now he could have the chance to give it back to her.]

[ ...If that's true, then... ]

I must have trusted you a great deal, then. [ And if it actually is her notebook, then it'll be proof at 1) she was here in the past, 2) she has forgotten her memories from here, 3) she knew Minato when she was here, and 4) she can trust him. ]

Maybe. You were kind enough to let me borrow it.

[They had reached the Gardens by now, and Minato was still as relaxed as he ever was.]

There's more I should tell you.

[ The fact that he's remained calm, consistent in his story, and this notebook revelation make her far more accepting of what he has to say. She finds a nice, secluded bench, brushes a thin layer of snow off it, and sits.

There's no one else around; it looks like George left a while ago. ]

[It was more like demonstrating instead of actually telling her. It was going to probably be worth a thousand words or more, and Minato didn't have very many words to spare in the first place.

Maybe Sukuna-Hikona would like to see too. Minato had seen him before, so it was only fair the other way around. Minato removed his Evoker from his holster in order to summon his usually equipped Persona, Messiah. The white figure hovered above the both of them, and Minato didn't dismiss him just yet.]

[ She jolts when he puts the gun to his head-- Maybe he wasn't as calm, rational, and/or sane as she had thought, and oh God wow she didn't want to see someone kill themselves, thank you very much.

But then there's his Persona, and she feels her pulse quicken. Fuck sitting, sitting is lame, she's got to get a closer look. ]

You... [ You're a Persona user. ] Your summoning mechanism is... different.

[Minato let Messiah stay just that much longer for Naoto to observe him, maybe feel him if she wanted to. He did give her an apologetic look though for scaring her.]

I use an Evoker. Most of us did.

[ She won't touch him. She takes a step closer to his Persona, reaching out ~~(to the truth)~~, but a the last moment, her movements falter, and she lowers her hand. ]

In Iwatodai... You had others who could use Persona as well. [ Her deductive reasoning skills are just a little bit distracted at the moment, sorry bro. Naoto was convinced the Investigation Team was alone in this matter; that they were an isolated incident. ]

Others who had the technology to create your "Evoker."

[Minato nodded, then let Messiah disappear and fade back into the sea of his soul.]

We fought against Shadows, though we didn't encounter the fog or other Shadows that looked like us.

[It was only here that he learned Personas were Shadows, but only tamed, and he could only learn that or come to that conclusion with the help of the IT and what he had been told.

Since Naoto looked not exactly flustered, but was dealing with information overload, Minato summoned again, bringing out Jack Frost. Maybe the Jack could help cheer her up.]

[ She greets the Persona's appearance with a dignified tip of her hat and a smile, because wow, Jack Frost is too adorable to not smile at. It is a bit overwhelming; other Persona users, Evokers, the fact that Minato could summon more than one, or the fact that she had seen Souji-senpai summon Jack Frost before.

But, siighh. She'll have time to cogitate over this junk later. Right now, she'll take what Minato says at face value. Right now is the information gathering phase; she'll work on analysis later. ]

Did you have access to the world within the TV?

[Minato would've pet Jack Frost on the head if he could, just to show the Jack that he did a good job. It was still interesting to him though, the fact that he could show parts of his soul to others who could actually see them and understand what it was before them.

He shook his head. He would've liked to see that world though, to see what the IT, who were essentially his kouhai, had seen.]

We fought Shadows during the Dark Hour, a hidden hour after midnight. Our opponent was different from yours.

[Perhaps why they had different battlefields, so to speak.]

Who was your opponent? [ wait ] ...Or what, I should say. Who or what was your opponent?

[ Yousuke and Souji had both told her that Adachi had been the culprit, but... There were still so many questions-- ones that weren't answered by Adachi's involvement. ]

Large Shadows that appeared every full moon. Some rogue Persona users.

[But there was yet another opponent or two that were more important to mention.]

Nyx and her Avatar.

[ "Nyx." Greek goddess (or god, Naoto can't remember) of the night. Someone who only existed in the shadows. She thinks a few poets might have wrote about her, but dang, she don't know that shit. Greek poetry is too esoteric, even for her.

Whatever Nyx's Avatar was, though, who knows. It's curious that other Persona users would fight against Minato and his friends, but not unbelievable. The more curious bit of information is the link to the moon. ]

Was... [ how does she phrase this? ] Was there an end to your battle? [ Whether or not it could actually end, whether or not they saw it to the end. ]

[Minato paused for a second, but then nodded. It had ended in one sense, and Minato had been content with that. It hadn't ended in other ways though, as the IT had to take over a couple years later. But theirs had also ended too.]

Our part's finished. [For the most part, so to speak.]

Yours is done too.

...That's... strange to hear. To think such a fight would ever be over. [ She tugs the brim of her hat downward. ]

It's almost beyond belief. I've only been involved with our Investigation Team for a few months, and already... [ How much of this can she admit to someone she doesn't know that well? ]

It feels like my whole life.

[At least, that battle was completed. The war could still be raging, but it wasn't as though they wouldn't be ready for another fight if they had to fight. But that's neither here nor there at the moment.

Minato nodded. Actually, besides his life up to the night on the bridge, Minato wanted to consider that one year back in Iwatodai his life. The time in between was nothing like living.]

Mn. It's because it's an important part of it.

[Or so far the most important part. Where else would someone be able to gain such close friends and go through something so incredible as saving the world?]
