hey so um out of curiosity does this place have an infirmary or something?? just wondering!!

[He takes another sip of his beer, tapping at the side of the can with one finger lazily.]

[SOUJI IS STILL GOING TO WORRY, but at least he won't say that part.

Also, Adachi, he is stealing your beer. Or what's left of it. Because if there is any time for Souji to drink, it is right the heck now.]

Beer is actually pretty gross.

Well, yeah, of course it is. You're such a kid. It's one of those "acquired tastes" — people keep drinking it because it feels good, not because it tastes good.

Why don't you just drink sake? It gets you drunk faster.

Not really? Only when you drink it along with other things. Like, say— [He reaches over to tap at the side of the beer can lightly.] It'd be easier to drink whiskey or vodka, but that can get pricey.

We don't really have to worry about that here.

[Somehow, getting drunk with Adachi doesn't seem like a terrible life choice.]

[Souji will just finish this can of beer.]

[Adachi rolls his eyes with a sigh, finishing off his stew.]

[Souji finishes his too and gets up to start cleaning up. He shakes the beer can at Adachi.]

Do you want another one? [Since you didn't get this whole one.]

Yeah, it'd be nice to actually have my own can.

[Souji gets another can and plunks it down in front of him, then goes about cleaning up.]
