[ It's not certain at first whether the video has been switched on intentionally. There isn't any direct addressing of the network. There's just the spinning image of a hallway (the fifth floor, for those of you playing at home) the occasional glimpse of long, brown hair and the unmistakable sound of delighted laughter. It slows down, eventually, comes to a complete stop and the laughter abruptly cuts off. Instead of the walls, the feed shakes and jerks as she turns it around and River's face is visible, peering directly at the little device. ]

Curious name and curious nature. The walls have secrets and she doesn't know what they are.

[ She frowns a moment, then turns to eye a window with a clearly suspicious look. ]

They're hiding something.

[ She stares for a moment or two longer, then starts to skip off down the hallway again. It takes a while for the feed to cut out, in the end it only happens because she decides to sit down outside a door in one swift movement, and drops the little tablet thing in the process. ]

If it pleases her so. Making sense out of steps is hard at first, but look for the equations and you'll arrive with the correct answer. X isn't always a single value and nor is y, but words fit into the boxes the same way. not always the same, but always reaching the destination.

[ The thing is, that's actually supposed to be helpful advice. River-ese 101. Meg's glossary isn't nearly as interesting as more information on the people in the mirrors though, so after the little ramble she moves on quite quickly. More important issues at hand. ]

She heard they're evil, twisted. Covering the mirrors, does that mean she won't have to hear them any more? They're all so loud for people who can't be seen or heard.

[ That's a deadpan look she's giving you, River. The advice wasn't so helpful, and hell if she's going to put effort into helping others translate the girl's verbal dancing. She's having a hard time herself. ]

Haven't heard much on the evil front for those guys, just figured they were our opposites. I'm sure mine is ten thousand kinds of annoying, but I don't have to deal with her.

[ Hearing the mirrors must be a pain in the ass, she'll give River that. Meg only covered them due to laziness, but she's not sure what happens when they are broken. ]

Try smashing them maybe? Don't know how long you'll be mirrorless, seems like they'll just be replaced. Can you understand what they're saying, or it is a bunch of jibberish and crap?
