[Hello, Wonderland. Clara is currently sitting at the desk in her room, looking very much like a miniature and much less threatening version of the Godfather. She's got her device sitting up on a nearby shelf recording, so it leaves plenty of room to have her hands clasped together and resting on the desk. There's piles of neatly stacked papers resting near her hands, all of her recent notes on a certain subject.

And what is that subject you ask?]

Magic.

[Yep, as much as it pains her to talk about magic, she really has to. But then she realizes that she actually has no idea what she wants to say, her mind's gone totally blank. And she fumbles.]

Magic, magic, magic, magic.

[She buys herself some time with that as uncertainty settles in, but she keeps her business face on.]

Thought I'd hold a bit of discussion on it, magic. Got a few questions about certain kinds of spells, if anyone's experienced in the field.

[Oh, Jim Kirk, you crazy diamond. Keep shining on. Clara looks momentarily horrified, but that quickly dissolves into something mocking and very clearly about to poke fun of him.]

Careful. Never know when you might get laughed at for lines like that. I'd hate to make you cry so early in our friendship.

[Silence for a beat, and then she's laughing, giving him an oh you sort of look.]

Definitely not the magic I was referring to, though, just so we're on the same page.

I'm just that interested in magic. [She shrugs, smiling in amusement.]

I'm interested in learning about how to fix spells, change the effects they've done to someone. I'm not sure it's even possible, really.

I don't know a whole lot about practicing it, but I've seen more magic in the past year than most people ever do. Hit me. I might not be much help, but you never know.

Do you know if all magic has a consequence?

[She's asking everyone she speaks to different questions, trying to get the most information as possible. She remembers Emma from back when Henry disappeared, though, and smiles as she knows the boy's returned and things are possibly a bit better now.]

[D'Artagnan considers replying to her video with a video, he really does, but her room is so close, and he needs his daily exercise. He gets up and walks down the hall, leaning against her doorframe when he arrives. What? She left it open.]

I met a boy who could do some spell work.

[She jumps upon hearing his voice, only because she wasn't expecting anyone to be there. But she's able to place it as being his without turning to look at him, and just motions him over to her little desk.]

Oh, I've met him too, briefly. Don't want to bother him with any of this, though. He probably has more important things to worry about.

[Like puberty and all that. She glances up at him, all smiles. She's happy to see him, even if they probably see each other all the time because they live right down the hall from one another.]

What sorts of "certain kinds of spells"?

Oh, I found loads of information on different types of magic. But I'd rather hear some first hand accounts in dealing with it, too. You can't always trust words in a book, you never know quite for sure what kind of person put them there.

[ Interest = piqued. What Stiles knows about magic is about zero, but he's spent enough time trying to figure it out that maybe his pile of useless Harry Potteresque information will help him in his quest for "you're the spark, Stiles" kind of magic. ]
