After that whole mess, Aerith's just plain wore out at this point. Girl's looking pretty tired when she replies to Eren: ]

Usually events only last a few days, and then everything goes right back to normal. As if it never happened. [ And she pauses, because 'normal' doesn't seem quite right. ] Back to normal for Wonderland, anyway.

He trots back over to his communicator, peering at the woman on screen. ]

How? Those dogs were alive! They were hungry! They have to have gone somewhere!! I need to know where!

I know. I still haven't been able to figure out what happens when an event ends, but everything just goes right back to normal. As if nothing happened in the first place.

[ Besides everyone in the mansion developing PTSD as a result. ]

It's strange magic, I've never encountered it before. I guess the one thing to be thankful for is they don't usually last very long - only a few days.

Why only a few days, though? There are all these questions, and why the hell isn't anyone asking them?! What if one day Wonderland just... throws all its past events at us again? What if it's saving up on invisible dogs?! We have to strike first before it can unleash its horrible dog terror on us again!

Not specifically, no. Just events. They are random. I had a talk with one of the Queens about it. Apparently their occurrence is similar to the sun rising.

I don't think they really "go" anywhere. The Red Queen said something about world's crashing, so maybe they go back to the world they should be in, but...I dunno. They never seem to take people with them, after all.

We're not sure who's ultimately in charge or anything, but whoever it is isn't too choosy about who gets to do what or who stays and who goes. It's...random as a shopping cart in the bayou, most times.
