[Jo looks panicked when she addresses the network, though it's that very forcibly restrained sort of panic that she's known for displaying in stressful situations. She learned a long time ago that fear is not necessarily a bad thing; it keeps you sharp, and sometimes it's smart to be scared -- like now. So long as you don't let it get the better of you, fear can be used to your advantage. She's not expecting any opportunities to weaponize it during this particular event, but it has given her the presence of mind to wrestle back control from her mirror long enough to put out a warning.]
I probably don't have a lot of time, but if you see me, turn in the other direction immediately. Get behind closed doors, line the door and any windows with salt, throw holy water at me, whatever you have to do. I'm fighting her as hard as I can, but I can't keep her back forever. Whatever you do, avoid--
[She stops suddenly, any and all trace of panic or distress ebbing away as though they'd never been there in the first place. Instead, she smiles, slow and menacing while at the same time just a little too cheerful and self-satisfied.]
Awfully rude, isn't she? Don't pay attention to her. I promise, I'm more fun than she'll ever be.

lightgunhustler and
stayedhome! This post will be serving as a catch-all for Jo for the event. Whether video or action, please specify if you'd like regular or mirror Jo! For action, she is available to be encountered anywhere in the mansion or grounds on anytime between now and the end of the event, just let me know when and where you want to run into her if you do.]]

video » feel free to toss both
[ too bad she didn't get a vision to tell her that her wish won't be coming true. ]
[ with her eyebrow arched, cordelia's anything but buying what mirror jo is trying to sell. ] Something tells me that that might not be completely true.

Cordy, I need you to do me a favor. I need a pair of--

She must be pretty desperate if she thinks asking for help is going to do anything. Like I'm not going to shut her down immediately.
[Stupid humans. As vessels went, hers was a good one in that she was fit and strong and well-trained with a real-world connection to a certain antichrist, but she really can't stand the simpering do-gooder angle. Irritating.]
video » i feel so spoiled! ❤
[ cordelia tells mirror!jo: ] You never know, sometimes asking for help is all it takes for a big bad to stay down.
I'd know. I was a big bad. [ and now she feels as though she's lying. had she really fought jasmine? if she had fought harder, half of the destruction left in her body's wake never would've occurred. ]

[Which is just inviting an argument, really, but Jo's mirror doesn't seem to be the type who minds.]
She can ask for help all she wants, but it won't make her strong enough to overpower me.

[ cordelia might be pushing it, just slightly, but pushing people and ribbing them is something she's had down pat since puberty. she's not sure how jo could overpower her mirror, but if her mirror has an achilles heel, perhaps cordelia will be able to find it and assist in jo in the whole becoming stronger thing. ]
[ it's what friends do. ]

[She smiles thinly. Even if she remembers a life beyond this place, she's almost certain that the Queen created each and every Mirror herself, using them to build an army of sorts on her side of the looking glass. No, she couldn't help who made her or where she'd been put, but it was possible that she could claw her way out and claim a better existence for herself.]
Unfortunately for the Queen, she's recruited Mirrors who are less compliant than others. We won't all be content to serve her forever. We deserve to be real, just like every simpering would-be hero on this side of the glass.

And has she promised you that? You'll be able to grow up and be a real mirror but for now you're just a puppet made of wood and fed lies and false promises?

[The words are almost spat out, as though even speaking of the Queen leaves a bad taste in her mouth.]
I don't serve her. Not by choice.
[Only until she and Sam can break away and assert themselves, recruit more followers of their own.]
She wants the mirrors to remain puppets, be her slaves. She doesn't think any of us will ever rebel. She's mistaken.
no subject
Is there a rebellion pending?

Something stops her. Rather than smug, she seems apprehensive.]
... she might be listening.
[And that, apparently, is going to have to serve in place of a yes or a no, because a moment later, the video feed shuts off and she's gone.]
