♛ fifteenth hunt - video;
[ Well, well. Something clearly isn't right here. Though he's young--about fourteen--and doesn't remember Wonderland, Sam is still a hunter. Won't advertise it, but is smart enough to be wary, and peers into the device with a youthful, but suspicious glance. ]
Hey. Not cool. [ He huffs shortly, seemingly unconcerned that he's been kidnapped. ] Usually, I think people make demands when they've got hostages. Right? And I haven't heard anything yet.
[ Sam peers into the little camera, unused to the technology of a network like this, but also very smart. ]
If there's something you want to say? Say it. I'm not gonna stick around here long.

[The excited exclamation is heard a few seconds before a small face appears on the screen. She doesn't look happy, necessarily, but definitely pleased.]
Somebody said I was here but was bigger or something dumb and I knew they was lying!
[And then reality reasserts itself and the little girl freezes before her expression falls into a worried, slightly fearful one.]
But what if nobody finds us? What if... [she pauses, sniffles quickly, then tries to put on her brave face - but mostly looks hopefully at Sam] Can I go with you when you find a way to get out?

[ "Bigger or something dumb." What did that even mean? Sam just smiles, though, forever trying to be a comfort for others. ]
We don't need anybody to find us. I'm gonna get us out of here.
[ And if he can't, Dean or his dad would show. Either way. ]
Yeah, of course. What's your name?
no subject
I'm Krissy. What's yours? [She barely pauses before offering up her own version of 'helping'.] And if we don't go soon, my daddy'll find us. [A decisive nod.] And I know me being bigger doesn't make any sense. People grow up, not down.
[She frowns thoughtfully. Worriedly.]
Only, I do have some stuff I don't think I'm 'lowed to have. [Like guns. She's not really supposed to use those. She's learning, but she's not far enough along to have her own that she carries with her yet. She tries to reassure herself as best she can.] But that don't mean what they said is really real. I could've got that stuff any place.

Your dad? Would he know where we were? [ The way she says it reminds him of... well, the way he said it, which had been with the implication that there was a hunter in the family. Krissy might or might not know about it, but Sam isn't going to press for that info unless she brings it up. ]
What who said?
no subject
Some guy said I was here but I was bigger. He said he's not from Earth, too.
[And then she grins because now she's talking about the one thing she loves to talk about more than anything else in the entire world. Ever.]
And my daddy'll find us easy. He's the best! He finds stuff all the time and he'll... [She trails off as it occurs to her that her dad was on a hunt when she showed up here. Her bright smile fades a little.] Well, he was, uh, [She thinks quickly] working so maybe not right 'way but he'll know I'm not where I'm s'posed to be and then he'll find us cause he's real good at finding people when they need him. [She nods decisively as if to say 'so that's that'.]

[ Especially when he has no idea what's got them, yet, and he doesn't have a solid plan. ]
Good at finding people? Is he a detective? [ Or a fake detective, AKA a hunter?? ]

Of course, since her mommy was killed, her daddy has tried his absolute best to make her understand that, sometimes, everyone has to lie. However the lesson has been a slow-going on and not one Krissy is all that keen on learning. Especially when other kids are involved. Because Krissy knows if she stands any chance of anybody ever believing her when she tells the truth about things these days, that's who would believe her. Other children.
But she doesn't know this kid and she isn't sure she can trust him. And she doesn't want her daddy to show up and be mad at her, just like she doesn't want to disappoint her mommy - who she knows is watching over her from heaven.
So she settles for the best compromise she can come up with.]
Uhhh... he's sort of a 'tective. [Except he isn't and it's obvious from her expression that she knows it. Quickly, she glances from left to right, then leans really close to the camera and lowers her voice.]</small. Can you keep a secret, Sam? I mean a real big one.
no subject
Yeah, for sure. You okay?
oops coding fail - my bad!
[She pauses and licks her lips nervously. She knows she's risking getting into Big Trouble with what she's about to say but she can't lie to someone who is being nice and wants to help her. She just can't.]
My daddy helps people in trouble. People who're bein' hurt by [her voice drops to a whisper, eyes wide as she tries to emphasize how serious she's being] monsters. [There. It's said. She nods once then tries her best to gloss over the information.]
So he'll show up. I just know it.
totally fine!
no subject
You know?
[And, just like that, her shock is replaced with being positively thrilled.]
I didn't know there was other kids. I've never met one not once ever never and [a breath] how'd you know anyhow?
no subject
At the question, though, he looks down, smile fading. ]
One of 'em got my mom. I was a baby.
no subject
But then Sam mentions his mom and, instantly, Krissy's look of wonder falls into a knowingly somber expression.]
One of 'em got mine too. [Her voice becomes small-sounding.] It was 'bout a year ago. I- [she clears her throat and her lower lip trembles] I was there.
[There's a quiet, almost inaudible sniffle, then she offers him a small, somewhat wobbly smile.]
I didn't know kids could be hunters too, though. That's cool.
no subject
[ Even if both their moms had been killed... ]
Yeah, I'm not sure how common it is. But you could probably be one if you wanted. I wish I wasn't.
