[She touches her ear lightly, dressed elegantly but confused in her manner. Thank goodness she had stepped foot in this world before, otherwise she would be greatly afraid. Her voice is a thick French accent, but she is speaking English.]

I am looking for a man, tall and thin, strange and erratic in behavior. He goes by the name "The Doctor."

[Martha is actually used to this by now. Enough people have shown up asking for the Doctor that she's expecting it. Once again, this isn't someone she recognizes, which could mean she's a companion from the future or even the past.

Judging from that dress, it might be the latter. Unless there's some fashion resurgence in the future that she's not aware of.]

It is Wonderland! And the Doctor is here. I imagine he'll be finding you before long.

[The ballroom? It takes Martha a moment before she puts it together. She means that weekend when the Red Queen decided to let a whole host of new people in, but only for a short time.

Apparently this woman has been chosen for a more permanent stay.]

Well, his room is on the sixth floor. You might want to try him there. Otherwise, he could honestly be anywhere. He... wanders quite a bit.

[ It's taken him awhile to get to this message, mostly because he's been wandering through the mansion, and hasn't really been paying attention to what's going on with the mobile.

And when he finally gets wind of it, the first thing to come to mind is a very indignant response. ]

[ The funny thing is that it's an accurate description, but he still doesn't like it. And no, he hasn't quite yet put the pieces together that it's Reinette, simply because she's one of the last people he'd ever expect to see in Wonderland. ]

It is an accurate description. You leap from one wall to the other. I would call you a monkey, but this seemed more polite.

[The accent and the clothing. It is so familiar to Lia that it is like a(nother) knife through the chest. It's a fair bit more elaborate than what she sees at Court, but surely this woman is French and surely from near the same time.]

I know the name de Beaumont, I believe they are a noble family from the province of Touraine.

Not so much a family at the moment. Only my brother and I are left to it and I am afraid we are originally from Tonnerre, before we lived at Court in Versailles.

[Though she hasn't kept up with relations so who knows? She smiles and ducks a little in a kind of oddly managed curtsy.]
