[ alayne is always nervous and fidgety when speaking through her looking mirror as she calls it; but today there is an extra frown on her brow that betrays her concern.

her manners, however, are as splendid as ever; she tidies down the blue silks she has found in her wardrobe and dips her head in greeting. ]

Good people of Wonderland,

[ the manners are there but her voice betrays a hint of urgency ]

There are those among you who have made by acquaintance. I seek those who have come to my aid before, those who I have met and have come to know in the duration of my stay in our Mansion. I have a request to make of you; I will be -- endlessly grateful if you shall hear my words, though I have little to offer you in return.

[ and she doesn't like this; does not like to ask for something she cannot repay for but she has little choice in this manner. ]

[Given how their previous interactions had gone, how difficult it had been to convince Alayne that Steve meant to offer her help without expecting anything in return, it's a shock that she would make a broadcast like this.

If she's outright asking for help in this way, it can't be anything good. Steve's quick to send a reply.]

What is it, Miss Alayne? [The frown on his face matches her own.]

Steve Rogers.

[ a tone of relief there. alayne would receive any aid offered to her with deep gratitude but steve rogers is someone who gives her a spark of something she was not allowed to feel in westeros. a hope for something that might be good after all.

mayhaps good can still see light here, maphaps wonderland does not seek to vanquish it as westeros has done. ]

Two children have been called into our realm. Two children who are kin of a Lady I am in servitude of. She is bold and good and yet, I would ask for others to mind their steps. Wonderland is not without its dangers, I was told.

[It doesn't take long for Alayne to explain, and soon enough Steve can see why this time, she had been willing to ask for help.

Because it's not for her, but rather for someone else. Two someones, in fact. Children. Steve's run across a few young people here, and he spends a lot of time worrying over them.

If Alayne wants him to keep an eye out for them, then he would gladly do so.]

No, it's not. What are their names, and how old are they?

I have not asked for their ages.

[ in truth, she does not know. how much time has passed for them since they parted ways? Bran was certainly older, Arya too; though alayne cannot be certain, they both look so different than the siblings in sansa's memories. ]

But their names I can offer you, Lord Brandon Stark and Lady Arya Stark.

[assembles]

[The ages don't actually matter. The point seems to be that they're young, too young to defend themselves all on their own. Granted, some children have been through more than others -- he's had this argument with Natasha in regards to James.]

... Stark. [Why is it that he continues to come across that surname? Somehow Steve doubts that these children will be anything like Tony.]

So they're siblings? Could you describe what they look like?

[Regardless of who it is, Steve's going to jump in if he sees a child in danger, but it still helps to get as much information as he can.]

[ 'Stark' he says and is answered by a careful, timid nod. ]

You have heard their name before?

[ not an odd concept with Lady Lyanna Stark in the Mansion and yet it is still odd for Alayne to hear the name spoken so freely. In King's Landing where Sansa was held captive, the name was never said without disdain. ]

They are brother and sister, yes. Lord Stark has auburn hair and blue eyes and Lady Arya Stark, is his younger sister - eyes of grey and brown hair.

[Those descriptions aren't particularly detailed, but the hair colors and the fact that the two should look alike will hopefully be enough for Steve to work from.

As for that question, he isn't quite able to keep a smirk off his face.]

I have, yeah. There's someone from my home with the same last name. He's around here too. Tony Stark.

[Steve doubts that Alayne and Tony have met. He doesn't think Tony would have the patience for someone so soft-spoken.]
