[When the audio clicks on, Skye is very clearly in the middle of panicking, she sounds close to hyperventilating, in fact, and it takes her a long time to speak. When she finally goes to, she stops and starts, more than once, like she can't quite get it out. It takes very little time to realize she's crying from the hitch in her voice when she does actually start talking, though it's probably obvious long before.]

I-..It's Simmons. I can't-... I don't know what to do. I- I don't know what to do. I-

[She stops, unable to continue right away, it sounds like she can't quite catch her breath and she lets out a warbling sound like a sob. Skye's very rarely completely lost for answers or a way to even begin, and that's enough to be terrifying to anyone who knows her.]

I don't know what happened- Or- I-

[ Skye can't bring herself to flat out say it. She can't. This has to be part of this whole nightmare horrible thing, but it's not, and it's real, and Skye's got blood under her nails and she just wants to wake up. Skye's voice catches again, and she doesn't continue. the audio rolls for a moment or two more before it cuts out.]

Skye, where are you? What's wrong?

[ He's already pulling on his jacket and flying out the door of his room, but he needs directions.

There's something wrong here and he knows that much, because he's already been attacked by people who would never attack him, but the things they've voiced to him... he can't help wondering if they're true. Skye's one of the few people he hasn't been attacked by and he has to wonder if that's because she's getting attacked by her own share of whacked out friends and colleagues. ]

I'm- I think I'm by the clinic.

I think. I don't know, I-

[Skye clicks it over to Private, and Video. She looks like she'd been crying, and there's a sweep of blood on her cheek where she was probably trying to wipe tears with bloody hands. She turns the camera to show the hall so Coulson can hope to figure out where she is. Skye doesn't know, and isn't sure. ]

Here. I'm here. Wherever here is.

Okay. I'll be there. Just stay calm.

[ He doesn't even bother to hit the feed off as he books it down several flights of stairs in quick succession.

It's still recording as he comes upon her location, out of breath as he takes in the scene. ]
