[Welcome to a feed of the diner, where Souji is standing behind two pyramids carefully constructed from cheeseburgers (there's also a plateful of Christmas cookies, but they're shoved off to the side because Mansion made those, not Souji). He's looking at them in bemusement, as though he's only just now realized just how many he's actually made.

He's wearing a pale pink apron that probably actually belongs to Tohru. In the background, he's already dragged out the Colonel and decked him out with a Santa Hat and string of lights.

After a few seconds, he shrugs and looks at the camera, noticing it's on. Well, that decides it.]

I'd like to propose a trade. [As though this was his plan the whole time.] A cheeseburger for a Christmas gift idea.


[OOC Note: Souji will be about 5 due to cookies from 12/13-12/15. I'm including a top level catch all thread for anyone who wants to interact with him during those dates. This will probably be the only time he'll ever be shorter than most of the other residents of the Mansion.]

[Souji reached up as Minato finished putting his hat on him and fussed with Minato's scarf a bit, adjusting it. Then he nodded and gathered up his fox.]

Thank you.

[Minato smiled, and petted Souji's new ears. Souji was so cute. Since Souji had his fox in hand again and was all dressed up to go outside, Minato picked him up again to carry him downstairs.]

Do you remember Jack Frost? He can help be our model if you don't remember him.

[Souji nodded and leaned against Minato's shoulder.]

Where does he come from?

He comes from the sea of my soul. He's always with me.

[Minato wanted to say that Souji knew him too. Pretty soon they were outside and into the snow. When they got to a good spot with a lot of snow they could use to make their snowman, he set Souji down on his feet.]

[Souji felt a little jealous and pouted against Minato's shoulder. He wanted someone who was always with him too. He tightened his grip around his fox plush.

When they were outside, he tucked the fox under one arm and tramped through the snow. It wasn't particularly deep, but he was on the short side just now and so he had to pick his feet up higher than normal to avoid getting snow in his shoes.]

[Minato found a rock they could use for the fox plush. He wiped it clean and let Souji decide if the fox should sit there and supervise while they built their snowman. He thought it was cute again that Souji was careful in the snow.

Minato summoned his frost Persona, and Jack Frost came out to play again. He said "hee ho!" and hi to Sou-hee again whom he just saw a little while ago. Minato for his part gently stroked Souji's hair.]

He knows you because you know him. In your soul somewhere, he's there too.

[Souji looked up from making sure the fox was settled on the rock, blinking at Jack Frost.]

...Me too?

[He wasn't sure he understood. How could Jack Frost be in both of them? And if he was in Souji, too, where was he? Souji had never seen him. He would surely remember.]

You'll meet him someday. But he's in there, always with you.

[Minato put his hand on the crown of Souji's head.]

You're never alone, okay? You can be lonely, maybe, but you're never alone.

[Souji looked up at Minato and put a hand over his chest. He didn't like being alone. Minato must have known that. Moving abruptly, Souji hugged Minato. It was a bit awkward at his height, but he didn't care. Minato knew him and Minato gave him things and Minato was playing with him.]

[Minato didn't mind that at all. He bent a bit and gave Souji a hug back as best as he could. It was warm or made Minato feel warm inside.]

I'll do anything for you. You don't have to worry.

[Souji nuzzled against Minato's side. He still wasn't sure why Minato liked him so much, but it wasn't important. Minato was here and Souji was here. Souji didn't think about it beyond that.]

[Minato smiled again, letting Souji hug him for as long as he wanted or needed. After this, they had all the time to make their snowman, play some more outside, have hot chocolate or ice cream, do whatever Souji wanted.]
