Video
[Bela is standing in front of the camera, dressed in pants and shirt and a brown leather jacket-rather common clothing considering the eclectic pile of clothes behind her. If anyone cares for those kind of details they'll see a wide arrangement of clothing, from suits to cocktail dresses to waitress uniforms and even a maid costume.]
So. The closet? It's a very nice touch, I have to admit. I certainly wouldn't mind having one back home. Though seemingly free food, board, and clothing just means there's a hidden cost. So what is our benevolent caretaker charging us?
And what becomes valuable in a place like this? Is there a currency in particular items? Favors? Souls? [And there's a wry smile there to indicate that might possibly be a joke.]
Or does everyone here work on altruism?
Action A: Wandering Wonderland
[Not one to idly sit when her surroundings are so undiscovered, and therefore a little bit threatening, Bela takes to exploring the grounds with a casual step that belies just how uncomfortable she really feels. She can be found idly touching decor along the walls of the mansion, or grabbing something to eat in the dining room, or eyeing the titles of books in the library even if she doesn’t actually reach for any right now.
[ooc: This is your find her wandering anywhere you want to option.]
Action B: An unlocked room is an invitation.
[After exploring the more open grounds, Bela can be found roaming the hallways. It’s a seemingly innocent gesture by itself, except for the subtle jiggle of a handle here and there as she moves about. Just her way of...well, casing the place. Not that she’s planning on stealing anything quite yet, but she’ll feel more comfortable once she’s got a good map of the surroundings and people around her since it doesn’t seem like she’ll be leaving very soon.
Occasionally, when she finds an unlocked door, she casually opens it just to get a good idea of the room-and on the occasion that someone is actually in their room without bothering to lock the door, well, she smiles sheepishly and offers an embarrassed apology.]
Oh, I’m sorry. I have the wrong room. [Ignore the subtle sweep around the room before she tries to retreat.]
Action C: A locked one is just a challenge.
[She’s good. For a while. But after finding so many empty and unlocked rooms, she’s a little curious to see what’s inside a locked one. And just as curious to see how easy it is to pick a lock on these particular doors.
So she chooses a random one in a rather quiet hallway, listens near the door for any tell-tale sign of shuffling, and when she thinks she’s in the clear, she kneels down and jimmies the lock, before pushing the door open. If there’s no immediate reaction, she’ll take a step inside. Just a quick scouting mission, don’t worry, she’s not here to steal anything.]

I-I'm sorry! If this not my room? I-I thought it was, but I must be wrong!
no subject
Well... [And she eyes the room before taking another step in.] I suppose I could look around and see if it's the room I was looking for? If you don't mind the...interruption?

c. this should be fun
Currently, however, he's passed out in a fitful doze in his desk chair. It's not the most dignified position, having left him half-collapsed on the desk itself, and while he hasn't progressed into out-and-out snoring there's definitely a thin trickle of drool pooling around his cheek.
The sound of someone picking the lock doesn't rouse him, but the sound of a door opening definitely does. Alex startles awake with a jump, adrenaline buzzing him him into relative wakefulness.]
Bzuhh?
no subject
Well. Shit. And she holds one hand up complacently.]
Oh. [Because such an eloquent greeting deserves the same in turn, right?]
My apologies. I thought this was a...friend's room. I'm new. I must have gotten turned around.
no subject
You thought a locked room belonged to a friend.
[His gaze drifts to the door, now open. Yep, he definitely made sure to lock that after the last barge-in by that sleepwalking lady. He's gonna have to invest in a bolt job or something, seriously.
His hackles now thoroughly raised, Alex eyes her suspiciously. Judging by the faint sneer, he's going for intimidating.]
Yeah, let's try for the truth this time.
[...He definitely has drool on his face, doesn't he.
So much for intimidating.]

Memories. That's the cost.
[They go slowly, little by little, but there's no doubt that that's what Wonderland takes from them.]
Loss of freedom is a part of the deal, too, but you've probably figured that out by now. [A beat.] It's Bela, isn't it?
no subject
Well, I can think of worse fates. [Like the one she was supposed to be experiencing right about now.
But the recognition, well that gets the first real reaction from her, and a brow arches curiously. Because she certainly can't place the girl.] ...It seems you have me at a disadvantage.
no subject
[Her own are more generous than most, but she'll save that for another time. She smiles grimly, apologetic.]
That's-- part of the Wonderland package, too. If you leave for any length of time, you forget everything that happened here. You've been here before. We didn't talk much, but we met. We have some friends in common. [If Bela even considers the Winchesters 'friends.'] I'm Jo. I know Sam and Dean pretty well.

Michonne. I think you should read--
[He, however, cuts off mid-speech when her apology fully registers as coming from an unfamiliar voice and draws him to look up to her, to give her look of surprise.
And not just because she isn't someone he knows, but because she LOOKS like someone he knows. Of course with the exception of her voice, her clothes and the length of her hair, she was a dead ringer for his friend, Maggie Greene. She looks so much like Maggie even that he has wonder if he's just imagining the differences after a moment, though. There were too many similarities for it not to be her, you know. So he was stunned by this wide twist of events.
He set down his comic slowly, though, and eventually shook his head at her words. If it was really her, it was really okay she came in. In fact, it would even be good she did. If not... then he had to find out what this was. He looked at her straight on.]
...Maggie?
no subject
But then he's calling her a name and looking like he's actually happy to see her, and damn it-
So she releases the handle and takes a step forward into the room.] I can't say that's a name I'm familiar with.

Carl doesn't quite scowl, but the happiness over his features fade then. He shifts to get up off his bed and stand up as she steps in more, being both curious or cautious.]

[ It's hard to say how Sam feels about Bela these days; they hadn't interacted too much during her last visit and, back home, he hasn't seen her in years. As such, he'll look about seven years older (or more, considering everything he's been through) since they last met, by her standard. ]
But, you don't remember being here. [ He can be straightforward, but he doesn't exactly feel the need to break things to her gently. ] Let me know... last thing you remember, you were in some hot water with Lilith and that deal you couldn't pull off?
no subject
[She'd be insulted by gentle anyway. But that question does get a slight roll of her eyes.] Boiling, actually. Did you kill her?
no subject
[ He'd seen it firsthand... not that he's planning on talking much about when Dean was dragged to Hell. ]
Yeah. [ He'd been duped into killing her, more like. ] She was here, though. Not long ago.

That's where he happens to be when he wanders to a new shelf, glancing absently at the woman already browsing it nearby. He's good with faces, and even after not seeing one in Wonderland for more than a year and her standing in profile, he recognizes hers almost at once. It's easier to recall the details of a well-proportioned face than the details of their conversation, in truth. The sudden--and unexpected--recognition makes him pause mid-step for a moment.
First Emma, and now this woman. It seems as though old faces are reappearing in Wonderland on a weekly basis these days.
He doesn't speak up at first, but his gaze continues to wander back to Bela, quietly assessing.]
no subject
You know. [She starts casually, as she reaches up to grab a random book off the shelf just to turn it over in her hand] Usually at this point it's polite to introduce yourself, or it's necessary for me to pull out my can of mace.
[And then she puts the book right back.] Which shall it be?
whoops, let's pretend i didn't switch my scenario at the last second and leave the wrong letter

C... /cracks knuckles - pretend I'm not on hiatus
She'd locked the door when she'd stopped back in her room to take a quick nap, right? She'd like to think it was maybe one of the guys - maybe pulling a prank. She wouldn't put it past Blake or Tony, maybe even Sam although they might not be quite there yet. Definitely not Steve. While Jane had 3 degrees, lock-picking wasn't covered in one of them. So, she opts to go safe rather than sorry when the sound persists considering what had happened to her once upon a time at the hands of a mirror and later a demon. But, she hadn't heard anything on the networks and her phone had been fairly quiet. Should be okay, right? Sure.
Digging her taser out of her bag, she makes sure to set it to the human setting rather than the God one to start off. It tended to be easier to not have to explain herself too much. And most Gods she knew didn't pick locks.
Standing up from her spot on the couch, she waits in her room for the visitor to figure out the lock - taser leveled on the door when it finally opens. ]
'Sup.
[ So smooth. ]
/totally pretends
Bela freezes at the voice when she steps into the room, eyes darting directly to the source before landing on the taser. Hm. Well. Not the worst thing she's has pointed at her, actually. But no less unwanted.
So she stills and makes sure her hands are visible in front of her, but she's not inclined to put them up. That's a display of surrender, which is not how she works.]
It seems I've found myself in the wrong room. My apologies.

Th'last one, mostly, so you'd better brush up on yer connin' skills. Not that I think they got all that rusty.
[He's sort of -- well, cautious. If she came here straight from hell, she'd probably be a lot more shook up. It follows, then, that she's from before that time. Lucky her.]
Video
She never did get the gratitude she deserved for that little adventure. Even if she had ulterior motives.]
Well, Bobby. Certainly looking better than the last time I saw you.
[And tsk. Bobby. Bringing up her conning on an open network.]
