Video; 001
[A blonde comes on the screen, barely holding everything together. She didn't find the information she needed at the library, so now she was willing to make her presence known. Maybe the demon would appear to her so she could question him. It was all she knew to do at this point.]
Hello, I seem to have woken up here...wherever here is.
My name is Mary Winchester and I'm looking for whoever brought me here. I have a few questions for them, most notably, where the hell are my children.
[She was upset now and needed her babies. She needed to know they were safe. John could take care of himself and would understand why she wasn't asking for him.]
I'll be in the music room, come and find me with any information you have. My babies had better be safe.

And as much as he absolutely hates the network much less the ridiculous chat roulette feel to the video function, he does it because she seems distressed as hell and.. well. He gets it now. They all start off in the same boat and it's up to the residents to help the new people in from the cold. Sometimes literally.]
Hi Mary, I'm Raleigh.. [Hnnngh this is so awkward why did he think it was a good idea to do this. He gives a small half wave from where he's sitting on what looks like a bed. Young guy, mid twenties, scruffy hair in a hoodie. Nothing too out of the ordinary.]
I'm not the one that brought you here but it looks like I'm the only one awake. I can..come and meet you if you want?
Re: video;
Biting her lip, she's understandably hesitant to meet up with him, but she wanted answers.]
Please?
I just...I need answers and I'm not finding them here.

Library, right? I'm just down the hall. Be there in a minute.
[He goes to hang up but stops, looking at the camera earnestly.
Mary.. it's gonna be okay. Okay? You're okay.

But, well. That last name catches her attention.]
...Winchester. As in Sam and Dean?
Re: video;
You've seen my children?

...Something akin to that. I know of a pair of men with those names.

Still, the footage is a little too familiar in that it reminds her a great deal of her own arrival. Under normal circumstances she would approach the confused party regardless of personal affiliation, but the surname is noted.
Sam told her, once.
Evelyn hastens to the music room to allay fears, and while she doesn't quite strike the intimidating figure upon arrival - folder in hand, attire a little old-fashioned - there are bits and pieces that may seem recognisable, one of which is tattooed to the inside of her wrist.
(Also courtesy of Sam.)]
Mary...?
Re: action;
She doesn't notice the tattoo initially, but the thing that really gets her attention is the way her name is said. She doesn't know this woman, yet...]
Do I know you?

[she replies quickly, sensing an inherent distrust that she can't blame on anything but Mary's personal experiences. Evelyn recognises the not-so-subtle diversion behind the nearest solid object, but doesn't draw attention to it.]
But you introduced yourself over the network, asking for information? I thought I should provide. My name is Evelyn O'Connell.

action;
Sam is over six feet tall and over thirty years old when he bursts through the door of the music room, wide-eyed and nearly shaking with... mingled anticipation, fear, a lot of other things he can't put words to. He might startle her, but even simple consideration is thrown to the wind as he stands in the doorway, panting, eyes immediately falling on the beautiful, young woman sitting nearby. ]
... Mom? [ His voice breaks with the weight and enormity of the emotion. He doesn't approach, not without her say-so. He doesn't think he could move his feet if he tried, with the way his legs have gone to lead. ]
It's- Sam. I'm Sam.
Re: action;
Freezing when the door busted open, she stood quickly, backing away from the door. She was going to say something to him, up until she heard him call her mom.
Mom?
No.
Shaking her head, the confusion on her face is clear.]
I don't...
No. ...How?
action;
[ Don't say the yellow-eyed man. The bedroom. The fire. Please, let her be from before all that. ]
I'll explain everything. [ Sam says quietly, brows knit in deepening sadness. ] I promise, but I have to know what just happened-... back home.

Not that he'd normally take much notice of the new arrivals. He skims the network sometimes- hunting for new info- but otherwise he just doesn't care. That means, when he does wake up later in the morning, he doesn't even check. Why bother?]

Re: [Video]

What stops him is the sight of Sam's back vanishing into the music room, just a few seconds before him. It's like this perfect reunion and Dean hits this wall where he feels like he has no goddamn right to walk in there.
So he pulls away and stays back, and tries for hours to convince himself that he doesn't wanna talk to another dead person anyway. It's a stupid thing to try for. Because for all that time he's carefully stalking the door to the music room, waiting for her to come out, for a moment where he can catch her alone.
He just... he just wants to see her in person. Just
for a second.
He stalks her in the hallways after that, waits for a moment where he can randomly cross paths with her.]
You look a little lost.
Re: [action]
Lifting her head, she pauses. He looks so familiar but she just can't place him. Like meeting an old friend or family member you haven't seen in years. Finally forcing a small grin, she shrugs slightly.]
Isn't that what happens down the rabbit hole? I'm afraid I'm a bit more lost that I'd like.
