[He doesn't mention SHIELD or their duties, though. The agency is such a touchy issue in the public eye, it might be a condemnation to draw unnecessary attention to it. There was no telling what kind of people lived here.]

[His stare shifts pensively from the display to the camera and back again. His instinct is to pull apart this hardware and improve upon the flaws, but that would be entirely counterproductive to his means.]

I did. She accidentally triggered an alien transportation device. It's still a bit foreign to us, and we're not sure how it works. But I've reason to believe that I was able to restore enough function to take the same journey she did, yes.

Where I've landed is another issue entirely, but that's less important.

Was there a radius of impact?? I hadn't considered that it might have worked against anyone beyond the containment field.

How many people were pulled into the fallout?

[ Philip quirks his eyebrow at the text. The last alien transportation devices he tried-- Never mind, that's besides the point. So. Not a deliberate journey to Wonderland specifically, but a journey all the same. Two possibilities then.

a.) Wonderland took them, device be damned. Great coincidence on the timing for added effect, but in the end it's just that. And once he gets back he'll get saddled with the real destination.

b.) What that guy said.

Philip strokes his chin. ]

Any chance you brought that device with you in your pocket?

[There's also option C, in which Fitz exhausted the spectrum of Earth-based solutions and had been in the middle of throwing a frustration tantrum that ultimately would have proven fruitless for transport at all. Coincidental timing indeed.]

Sadly, no. It would be like trying to carry a hunk of Stonehenge in my pocket, I reckon.

Assuming that you've got a frame of reference for that. Sorry - I wasn't actually expecting to find English-speakers here.

We've not heard of it, no. But my friend was taken here after interacting with an artifact from another world. I've simply been retracing her steps.

[He sighs. Perhaps it was too much to hope that things would fall right into place after he'd managed the big step.]

With all due respect, I hesitate to begin addressing the intricacies of interplanetary transport outside of lay terms. It generally results in being left feeling that I've wholly wasted my time.
