[ Sarah's walking around Wonderland, device in hand as she talks, hair in a pony tail. She's in running gear, and though she's not winded, her cheeks are pink and it's clear she's definitely been exercising outside. ]

So, whoever said jogging is good for you? The worst. It's so bad for your knees. But sometimes it feels like running is the only way to get far enough past the latest...implosion of this place.

[ She sits now on a bench in the garden, sighing and looking at the camera. ]

Other than drinking, what do you do to take your mind off of how this place works? Some people, for example, run. Some people read, some people eat, even. I don't know. So what do you do when you need an escape when we can't go anywhere?

[ After she's posed her question to everyone at large, she wanders around the garden, wondering if she's allowed to pick the flowers or if it isn't that kind of garden. It's all beautiful, in any case, and she winds up finding a sunny spot and sitting again, stretching out on the grass and closing her eyes. ]

[It's been awhile since they made out that day long, long ago. Damon has had months and then 5+ years of his shitty homeworld since then, and he's wholly, utterly taken with Elena Gilbert.

Forever. Even if she doesn't remember, even if she's never lived it. Still he likes Sarah. She's a fun person to know.]

You can always break a few things. That's what I used to do.

Feels like if you jog, you'd always feel like you could never jog or run far enough.

[ Ah, yes. Her Halloween event paramour. But it's okay because Sarah is pretty utterly taken with Ray Palmer, but there's nothing that says she and Damon can't hang out. Or chat casually, as it were. ]

Breaking things doesn't really seem half bad most of the time. And you're right about running but the burning in my chest distracts me for at least a little while.

It feels cathartic, but then someone walks in on you, and asks What the hell's wrong with you?, and you're standing in a mess...

So break objects in privacy. [Damon tilts his head to the side with a shrug as he lifts a hand up with a little smirk] Not that I know from experience.

You definitely speak with a lot of authority on a subject you have no experience with.

[ She teases with a grin, then shrugs a little. ]

I've seen places opening up, for real money back home, that will let you break as much as you want, totally destroy a room and you don't have to clean up any of it.

That would have been useful. When you're not in Wonderland, the cleanup's a pain in the ass. Here, you can blink and magic the mess away.

[Granted, people still walk in on you and sometimes you don't feel like magic-ing up the mess. He's not all about property destruction anymore, but when needed, he will still break a few plates, split a few chairs.]

But wait, how much money do those places cost?

It depends on how long you want to go for. Five minutes is $25 bucks. Seriously, New York City has everything if you're willing to pay for it. There's also a place you can go to scream.

[ Which sound completely ridiculous, but. ]

I guess a sound proof booth is better than your neighbors thinking you're being murdered.

That indeed it does. Is that where you're from? I've been through once or twice. A long time ago.

[Damon lifts an eyebrow at that thought]

How cathartic is screaming at the top of your lungs anyway? Can't say I've ever tried it. [though he's made many people scream in his day]

I can't imagine it being very cathartic for me personally, and I'd much rather break things. And all things considered, there should definitely be a room for that in Wonderland.

It's Wonderland. It's possible, and it wouldn't even require maintenance. Pick an empty room, put a sign over it, make an announcement, people go crazy. It even has its own magic cleanup system.

Just gotta figure out what would be most cathartic to break. Glass vases have a really nice shattering sound. But chairs splinter into so many bits.

Personally, I'm a fan of beating the holy hell out of a car with a metal baseball bat. It's so satisfying.

[ Sarah can be a dangerous person with a bat when pissed. ]

Not that I'd know. I just assume. Cars can take a lot of damage so you could beat one until the tires come off.

...I've never beaten a car before. All the property destruction I've done in my years, I can't say I've taken a bat to a car yet.

Fuck. [Damon makes a face, apparently not at all phased by her desire to do such violence to such a large piece of property. He understands desire for violence, understands being dangerous too]

Now I feel unfulfilled.

If only the closets were big enough to give us one, then we could beat the shit out of one together.

[ She's got a lot to get out what with her father being a confirmed murderer and all. ]

You don't need the closets. Rooms can think up whatever we want.

[Damon has found himself an empty room, and he pans the camera in the direction of the car which is now in it. It's a really nice car too.]

Holy shit. okay, so...you're gonna tell me which room that is, right?

[ Because Sarah is ready to go, if so. ]

Because I'm such a nice guy... [ha.] Yes.

It's on the fourth floor. Next door to the Youth Center. Figure plenty of Youths will want to get out their aggression too. [yes, he just said youths. he's older than he looks by... a lot.]

[ Look, Sarah's not even going to question the Youths comment because it seems like youths today also hate youth today, so. Who is she to judge anything? ]

...We have a youth center?

[ Wow, she learns new things about this place every day. ]

Anyway, I'll be there.

[Damon will not be there by the time she arrives. Mostly, because it seems like she could really use it, and the way beating the crap out of stuff is really cathartic is to be alone and be able to let it all out. Every last bit.

In the room, he does leave behind a baseball bat with a sticky note that just has a smiley face on it though.
