video/action if you wanna
[ Sarah's walking around Wonderland, device in hand as she talks, hair in a pony tail. She's in running gear, and though she's not winded, her cheeks are pink and it's clear she's definitely been exercising outside. ]
So, whoever said jogging is good for you? The worst. It's so bad for your knees. But sometimes it feels like running is the only way to get far enough past the latest...implosion of this place.
[ She sits now on a bench in the garden, sighing and looking at the camera. ]
Other than drinking, what do you do to take your mind off of how this place works? Some people, for example, run. Some people read, some people eat, even. I don't know. So what do you do when you need an escape when we can't go anywhere?
[ After she's posed her question to everyone at large, she wanders around the garden, wondering if she's allowed to pick the flowers or if it isn't that kind of garden. It's all beautiful, in any case, and she winds up finding a sunny spot and sitting again, stretching out on the grass and closing her eyes. ]

I'm one of the runners. But I'm also in the bar a lot, so I suppose it's a combo? Between the pair they seem to work pretty well, though. For most of this place's shenanigans, anyway. The worst of them... [ He pauses, frowning slightly. ] Well. That usually depends on what it was.
But if your jogging is hurting your knees, maybe you should look into getting better shoes. Or I can recommend some knee-strengthening exercises for you? Jogging is good for you, but like any exercise, it's in how you do it.

[ She's just having an Ann Perkins moment, it'll pass. ]

There are a lot of those here and there, it can be a tough sport if you do it competitively. If you hate it that much, you could always mix it up or try something else? A bike maybe? Or if you ever want company, that sometimes helps as a distraction. it does get easier the more your body adjusts to doing it regularly.

I like that, something to make sure that even when things are bad, you have a lot of good stuff to look at to remind yourself there are fun things that happen here, too.

[She did say other than drinking, and smoking is not drinking. It's just a vice of a different sort.]

[ But she's not really looking to pick the habit back up again. ]
But that makes me wonder if people here do any kind of drugs.

[Yeah sorry, unlike last time, she doesn't always have decent advice.]
Are you good at it or do you just...hit things?
[ There are people who seem to really know what they're doing at the gym, and for all Sarah knows Jolyne is one of those people. ]
[She's never really had much in the way of lessons or anything. She's just good at hitting things.]
Eventually you kind of learn to not hurt your hands though. Or you learn to stop hitting things.

I guess I'm one of those people who spends most of my time reading. Though that's not all that different from what I spent my time doing at home...
What is it you do? [...] Not jogging, I'm guessing.
video;
Hey! And reading's not bad, I just get distracted by my thoughts and can't focus on the book.
[ At his question, she tilts her head to the side a little. ]
I'm a physical therapist, remember? I know a massage isn't exactly the same as therapy, but.
[ Maybe she didn't make that clear, before. She doesn't realize he doesn't remember her. ]
video;
I-- Actually, I don't remember. I lost some time or something like that.
[He rubs at the back of his neck, feeling awkward and a bit guilty, though he has no reason to.]
The last things I remember are from April.

Forever. Even if she doesn't remember, even if she's never lived it. Still he likes Sarah. She's a fun person to know.]
You can always break a few things. That's what I used to do.
Feels like if you jog, you'd always feel like you could never jog or run far enough.

Breaking things doesn't really seem half bad most of the time. And you're right about running but the burning in my chest distracts me for at least a little while.

So break objects in privacy. [Damon tilts his head to the side with a shrug as he lifts a hand up with a little smirk] Not that I know from experience.

His exercise regime routinely brings him out onto the grounds where he can enjoy the illusion of wide open spaces, and it's where he finds Sarah sprawled out on the grass.]
Sitting on the job, I see. Tsk, tsk.
[Smirking playfully, Anders comes to block her sun, leaning on his staff which stands even taller than he is. He's been training, too, and he's stripped off his outer robes and left himself in a pair of comfortably fitted trousers and a long-sleeved shirt.]

I was totally unprepared for how out of shape I am. It's really sad, honestly.
