[It's very rare that Rose graces the network in Wonderland, only having appeared once since she arrived here. That in and of itself makes this particular video rather curious. The subject at hand, likely one that's playing on everyone's mind but has Rose looking more than a little unsettled, despite her attempts to play at casual.

Clearly, she thinks the best way to deal right now, is to attempt to overdose on sugar; A plate piled high with an assortment of pastries, appearing in the corner of the shot.]

So... That whole thing with the Wonderland that wasn't really Wonderland?

[Her eyes narrow, teeth running over her lower lip as she carefully considers what she wants to say before giving it voice.]

We're all in agreement that it didn't really mean anything, right? It was just some, fake, alternate... you know, thing?

[She's obviously reaching but all this 'sciencey crap' is way outside of Rose's wheelhouse.]

Another one of Wonderland's stupid little mind games. [The unmistakable air of somebody trying to convince herself.

Rose breaks off a large chunk of a donut and pops it into her mouth, a flicker of doubt creeping in as she chews slowly.]

[ There is very little that can see Rose curb her lack of impulse control, especially when it came to arguing with somebody. What can however, is her desire to never look as stupid as the people she enjoyed taking down a peg or two. To Klaus's credit? He'd made it impossible for her to say much of anything without fulfilling his prophecy of being an ass.

His amusement might have seen her temper flare had he she considered it to be patronizing, Rose instead cocking her head to one side as she observed his every tick, the rise and fall of his voice, the way the humor behind his words drained away with his delivery.

More than once Dimitri had remarked on her uncanny ability to read a person, to see beyond the controlled mask they wore for others. Rose thought that was a load of crap most of the time. She just knew how to recognize herself in others and the intelligent flash in her eyes showed she was doing so right now.]

So why take it? [The conversation was veering off in a direction she hadn't expected and yet the possibility of encountering one person who might also despise this and see it for the prison that it was? Being surrounded by those who kept telling her to give Wonderland a chance made Klaus a breath of fresh air to the Dhampir.] You do hate this place, don't you?

You mean besides the sentient playing cards? Fat chance. My family's been here longer than I have if anybody could get to the source it's them. What's in charge here doesn't wanna be found or has enough power to make sure it isn't.

[Dean tosses a cold beer her way, hoping she'll catch it on the fly. He wasn't really looking for a conversation about taking down Wonderland but he's always up for drinking and women. Old habits die hard.]

It's one in an infinite number of possible future timelines, I think. That's all you can really...garner from it. Could happen. Or roughly a million other things could instead. [It's not like he's speaking from experience or anything, no, never.] It's impossible to know everything that led to that end, or how to avoid it, or make it happen. [A beat.] You know anything about Chaos Theory?

I'm willing to share. If we get a rhythm going it could be twice as much fine.

[Nothing like a little casual conversation about violence from two people who probably mean what they say.

Not necessarily. [He'd like to give a categorical "no," but he can't.] But I think the people we were in that future could be us in a long, long time, if we're still here.

I'd take it with a grain of salt, though.

But they have. [Realizing she needs to explain.] Sure not, six feet under for all eternity but. People around here die. A lot.

Plus it's still a prison, no matter how you dress it up. [A hint of a wry grin touching her lips as she adds;] I'm guessing you're not one of those people who likes it here.

[Obvious, but still. Rose has met one too many Pro-Wonderlanders. She was also shown a scrapbook on why Wonderland was great on her first day here. Things she will never be over.]

[It's not himself he's so worried about, really. That other version of him was infinitely superior to the guy he is now. It was more how everyone else was acting that had him worried.]

[The girls got Dhampir reflexes so she makes that catch appear effortless, a flicker of hesitation as she looks at the beer before opening it and nodding her thanks. She was getting used to the fact that she didn't have much reason around here, to stay alert at all times.]

Yeah... Sam's your brother, right? [Not that she was tight with the younger Winchester but they'd spoken. She'd recognized the name and Dean's Mom had actually helped fill in the blanks over baked goods.]

[Rose is just. Staring at her screen. So much staring. Maybe if she keeps staring he'll say something that makes sense to her.]

Yeah I... Understood maybe, nothing you just said. My idea of Chao Theory is what happens when a girl walks into the boys changing room during shower time.

[He laughs a little at that.] That...would definitely cause some chaos. But not the one I'm talking about. [He chuckles again.] It's also called The Butterfly Effect. It's basically the idea that the most insignificant things can have a huge impact. Like a butterfly flapping it's wings.

But... why would that have a huge impact? It's a butterfly. Don't they like, die five minutes after they're born anyway?

[Not to worry. Rose is just going to latch onto the one thing Souji said that she actually wanted to hear.]

Okay, good. Besides, I really don't plan on being here that long. [Like you have a choice.] Or dying that many times.

[Again. Like you have a choice. In theory, eventually? It could be inevitable but Rose much prefers her narrow yet comforting view of things.]

[Why text. Why. Rose sucks at text. Suffice to say her replies will be slow but they will come.]

[Mostly 'cause Tim likes to mentally rehearse what he's going to say before he says it, and it's safer to do so over text. Raises a lot less red flags, for one.]

are you saying people actually liked those dreams?

That's... [He shakes his head.] It's just saying that...our choices lead us to where we are. But, if we'd made different ones, then...we very easily could be someone else entirely. Maybe even someone you wouldn't recognize. [A beat.] Like the versions of us everyone in the dream Wonderland knew. [Although, he's less certain about those differences being due to choices and more to being Wonderland-related, but he'll digress for the sake of the explanation, anyway.]

Hell no. Not that home is all that great either. But at least I know what I'm fighting there.

[He does, doesn't he?]

[With Rose's lack of impulse control extending to her mouth? She should probably learn to embrace text.]

[Rose squints as she tries to process all of this, the wheels in her mind slowly turning and the end result is an offended mask that contorts her features in comical ways.]

So, let me get this straight. Some idiot steps on a butterfly and I jump into bed with the Devil?!

sleep deprivation really does a number on what seems real.

Or can fight the things you actually want to fight.

[Rose maintained that she'd feel a lot better if she could beat the crap out of whoever was behind this, even if it didn't mean she could go home.

His choice of words does appear to capture her interest at least, Rose shifting and cocking her head to one side as she regards him for a quiet moment.]

So back home... Are you like a - [She hesitates, knows she's about to use the wrong word and corrects herself silently before continuing.] - Soldier or, something?

[ That wasn't entirely true, though. Even Rose struggled with the real and not real of it all and she was naturally equipped to handle sleep deprivation better than most. ]

when you're the only one who remembers something different it's hard to hold to that.

[Just Tim losing his mind again, right? Nothing outta the ordinary.]

What? No. I mean-- [Pause. Frown.] Why is that where you leapt, actually?
