[It's very rare that Rose graces the network in Wonderland, only having appeared once since she arrived here. That in and of itself makes this particular video rather curious. The subject at hand, likely one that's playing on everyone's mind but has Rose looking more than a little unsettled, despite her attempts to play at casual.

Clearly, she thinks the best way to deal right now, is to attempt to overdose on sugar; A plate piled high with an assortment of pastries, appearing in the corner of the shot.]

So... That whole thing with the Wonderland that wasn't really Wonderland?

[Her eyes narrow, teeth running over her lower lip as she carefully considers what she wants to say before giving it voice.]

We're all in agreement that it didn't really mean anything, right? It was just some, fake, alternate... you know, thing?

[She's obviously reaching but all this 'sciencey crap' is way outside of Rose's wheelhouse.]

Another one of Wonderland's stupid little mind games. [The unmistakable air of somebody trying to convince herself.

Rose breaks off a large chunk of a donut and pops it into her mouth, a flicker of doubt creeping in as she chews slowly.]

Is anything here supposed to make sense? It kind of seems like we're meant to be lost and left in the dark.

[ a shake of her head, a hapless shrug. ] I don't know. Maybe it's... Maybe it's less fun that way...

After you die a fifth time you lose something. But I don't think it has to be memories.

[Maybe an example will help?]

I've died three times, but I've only lost memories from events.

Well, no teenage girl's life is complete without a makeover or two, so there's that at least.

You're from... the place that sounds really creepy but I can never remember the name of? [In her defense, Mystic Falls hardly sounds like a winner.] She comes to the training center sometimes and I pretty much live there.

[Rose considers if she should maybe speak up on Simon's behalf right now but... really?!]

I mean, he'll live. [What?! He could survive a bullet to the foot just fine.] Though, he'll still probably whine a lot and then Jo will have to wait on him. Better to go the shoulder. He only needs one arm to pour beers.

[Ten months. She's been here ten months and this is legit the first time she's heard this from somebody.]

What?! [...] You'd think something like that would be well known... or that people would stop telling people, you lose memories!

[Because yes. That's totally what she believes because it's exactly what she's been told.]

[ Rose. You were never a kid. Not a normal one. ]

but being a grown up stuck in kids body would suck for sure

[Well that's a terrible thought, but it's not like she hasn't had it already.]

Which is exactly why people around here, need to quit taking this crap and start pushing back.

Well... somebody else just told me that somebody here died a fifth time and they vanished for good so.

I'm not normally big on rules but this would be one of those times when some clarity on that front would be nice.

She's not used to being part of a 'we', at least not in Wonderland. Maybe she shouldn't be so pleased about that given the context but. Rose.]

[She's set herself in motion by now, heading towards the kitchen at a steady pace.]

Some are better than others. I like to consider myself a cautious optimist. Realistic, but hopeful.

[With one look, Klaus offers her more than anyone else in this place had dared to before. He didn't want to smother her fire, he approved of it and there was much to be said for receiving that kind of silent recognition, when most of your life, even before coming to Wonderland, you'd been in an ongoing state of being put in your place.

Rose straightens a little, almost as if she has to show that she's worthy of it, to prove to him that this isn't born from a desire to throw the world around them into chaos but because it matters. It matters far more than the everyday goings on that people content themselves with. She'd never been a believer in accepting things because that's just the way they are. Without somebody to challenge the status quo, nothing will ever change.]

A price that some might be willing to pay. [Given what was at stake, anyway. Rose was accustomed to the idea of paying a high price for the sake of duty and belief. When your whole life revolved around putting the lives of others ahead of your own, personal sacrifice didn't seem as costly as it should.]

Ten months. [Ten, very long, very frustrating months.]

Possibly. [He smirks.] Got something in mind?

Do you know who the person was? I know someone who died five times, but he definitely didn't vanish.

Uh.... [What? What the heck was she up to in the other Wonderland.] Usually it's more like, you're prophesied to kill your dad and marry your mom, so your parents get rid of you except you don't actually die, you get raised not knowing they're your parents and then, guess what, you kill your dad and marry your mom without realizing they're your dad and mom.

[Oedipus in one sentence. You're welcome.]

Or in this case, I don't know. We're so busy trying to stop the White Queen from taking over that something else really bad happens? It's not an exact science.

Wait, what? You're not losing huge chunks of your memory at once. It's more like...tiny moments. Maybe even just words? There are a lot of people here who keep track of their memories to make sure.

[ He has his whole book of family history and he remembers all of it he's been included in, but knows he doesn't remember the name of the state he's from. It's on the tip of his tongue, but...no dice. He doesn't remember. ]

[Fortunately, Hawke has heard... and said dumber so he takes it in stride.]

You're not wrong, but it doesn't seem right to discount the possibility of it meaning something.

I wouldn't worry. Most movies are pretty inaccurate. And then you have to account for all the alternate universe bullshit so...

[There's a silent nod on Dean's end and a smile he tries to hide with the mouthpiece of his beer. Sam's book smarts were always an asset no matter what gig they were working, but the truth of it was that he kept him human too. Sam always believed the best in people and situations, even when they didn't deserve it.]

Yeah, he got the brains of the family. Left me with the looks and the skill.

knowing our luck all the adults will turn into kids and it will be a disaster
