[what's up it's just eleven chillin' in her cozy basement room. she's sitting on the couch in front of a coffee table where there are some d&d miniature figures and whatnot.]

I met people like me here. Are there more? [she turns her attention to the miniatures, and they levitate off the table, then go flying sideways into the wall.]

I want to meet more people like me. I thought I was alone.

There's people like Sans, Alphys, Mettaton, Toriel... [They count them off on their fingers before realizing Eleven might not have met any of them just yet.]

Um...a skeleton, a lizard girl, a robot, and a...goat sort of monster? They're all really nice.

I saw the skeleton.

His name is Sans. He's really nice.

[He stops kids from killing themselves and everything.]

[she nods. he seems pretty nice?] He taught me hot dogs.

You mean...about them?

[She didn't know about hot dogs before coming here. They've heard stranger, but that's a little sad.]

Yes. There's a lot of food I don't know about.

That's good.

[Even if his "hot dogs" aren't actually "hot dogs."]

Has Dustin taught you yet? I know he likes all the cool stuff the closets can pull out.

He's taught me some things. But not everything. I think.

Well, you can always try and experiment. Just as long as you don't ask for animals.

[concerned:] Why? What happens?

Too many always end up coming out all at once.

[Said very seriously, with the knowledge of someone who's seen it happen several times since they showed up here.]

That's where most of the pets come from.

Oh ... okay. I'll remember. No animals.

Not unless people really want pets, anyway.

[Said with a smile; they don't want to scare her off. They think they might have scared her before, when they were acting strange and distant. Or if they didn't scare her - they didn't make a very good first impression.]

[it possibly wasn't the best first impression, but it's ok because el can handle a lot of weirdness. she doesn't have much of a baseline for human behavior and interaction, tbh.]

What if they want them?

[she asks out of curiosity more than a desire to have a pet. she remembers the cats in the lab ... they were small and fragile and didn't deserve to die, but she wouldn't know how to take care of them.]

There's a shelter for animals without owners. Mr. Winchester runs it, I think.

[Walking dogs for him is a nice way to pass the time, even if they don't have the capacity to care for one at the moment.]

Can anyone look?

I think so. I like to walk the dogs, sometimes.

[The animals there all like attention, and who are they to deny them that? Most everyone there loves a good Pet every once in a while.]

[the idea makes her smile slightly.]

Maybe I'll go.

I can show you where it is, if you ever wanna go.

[It's a sincere offer; they're not sure how often she gets out and about, and how well she might know the layout of the place.]

Okay. [a nod.] We can go someday.

Okay.

[She smiles. It's a nice look for her. Bolstered, they offer one in return.]
