[It's been a day and to say Daisy is stretched thin is an understatement. Still, she's doing her best to hold it together. Especially for Fitz and Simmons' sake considering this hit close to home for them. Fitz more so than anyone. Finding refuge in another room together, Daisy moved to take a seat on the ground. If Fitz and Simmons wanted the bed, it was there.

Taking out her network device, Daisy set it to broadcast out to anyone with theirs on.]

How's everyone holding up? Anyone missing?

[She didn't want to leave Fitz and Simmons alone, but if anyone needed help finding someone she couldn't just sit there.]

[OOC: Totally okay with this turning into action if anyone is up for that.]

If there's people missing we're gonna need a headcount. I can cover some distance on my own but a group effort goes a long way when it comes to crisis situations.

[Not that he's about being in league with people that can't hack it, but more eyes means a lot more information in the long run.]

Any idea on how to do a headcount quickly here?

Your best bet is to put someone on each floor, but even then you're not looking at exact numbers.

It's almost easier to keep track of who's missing, instead of who's roughing it.

Yeah, not as easy as it sounds. Apparently.

[She's taking a break for the moment, so a distraction from the pain she was in from overusing her powers would be nice right about now.]

How long have you been here?

[There's an audible sigh on his end of the line, that question was starting to get old. There was some truth to the whole distraction deal, there's way too much on his mind on a normal day.]

[ Caitlin's is probably the last voice Daisy wants to hear right now. But she's been alone for most of the day and that has her feeling somewhat detached. ]

It's going to be hard to figure out any missing, with infinite rooms and sufficent motivation to stay one to a room.

[Yeah. Really not the voice she wants to be hearing, but now isn't the time to hold a grudge. Maybe.]

Guess we'll just have to wait to hear if anyone knows of someone that hasn't checked in somewhere on here.

The only ones who would have the ability to be everywhere at once are the Mirrors. But that's... not really an option.

[ Ouch. She can practically hear the like you that goes unsaid. But she deserves it. Hell, she deserves Daisy punching her in the face, and that's probably just a starter. ]

And if they're not evil, then they're just deceitful or cruel or controlled by those who are.

[Well it's been a minute since she heard from him.]

Yeah. I know. I'm glad you're okay though.

[he's been busy, okay!! busy stalking his not-boyfriend. it's a long story.]

I'm glad you're okay. Not too worried about myself. I do a good dog paddle. And can't actually die, anyway. Might drown in my sleep, but I'll wake right back up.

[They have to stay together when someone sleeps. They need to keep time of the unconscious ones and make sure nobody oversleeps their limit and suffocates quietly while resting. It's why they've arranged to meet here, in an empty spot on the eighth floor.

Fitz is at the door to meet Daisy, extending an arm to help pull her out of the water's pull.]

There you go... Mind the carpet in this one. There's a bit of a bump a few steps up.

[He'll support her frame if she needs to collapse immediately, lacking the tension that he'd had with her when they spoke last. He's cross with her, but not so cross that he doesn't want her to be well.]

[It's definitely been a long night for Daisy, even if she knew better than to push herself it was impossible not to. Her entire body ached but especially her arms, it was hard not to notice the bruises on them.

She wasn't going to scare Fitz and tell him she almost didn't have enough air in her lungs to make it back to here in time but it's pretty evident in the way she falls to the ground once she's inside. Although with him helping her it was a lot more of a soft fall than it would have been otherwise.]

They really should have made swimming lessons a part of the curriculum for SHIELD training.

[She just needed to lay there for a minute.]

[He kneels down beside her, assessing her condition. He's fairly useless when it comes to medical things, but he's seen Jemma handle enough to pick up at least a bit of field first aid. He takes a pulse while they're both down here, rubbing her back lightly.]

It's covered in the Academy, but you skipped a few of the prerequisite courses.

[She can lay here and recover as long as she needs. He'll tend to her until she's ready to move.]

[It hurt even just having him apply the tiniest pressure to check her pulse but she wasn't going to tell him that.]

I'm fine Fitz.

[She really isn't, but she's gotten so used to lying about how she's actually doing that it seems more natural than telling the truth. On top of that he's actually being nice to her, which is throwing her for a loop. Pushing herself up into a sitting position, Daisy turned so her back was against the wall.]
