[The video feed shows Kanji leaning against the counter in the diner, his chin in hand as he props himself up on one elbow. He's still wearing his blue apron, but it looks like he's been taking a break from his usual clean-up duties for a little while now, frowning to himself thoughtfully.]

I got a question for you, Wonderland. Riley an' I were talkin' about events awhile back, and I've been thinkin' about it ever since. A lot of 'em have been pretty rough lately, right? But sometimes you hear people say that they're not always bad, that sometimes they're kinda fun. People seem to be havin' a rough time lately, so maybe it's time we thought about some of the positives of Wonderland, instead. Long as we're stuck here, we might as well.

So, tell me: what events have you seen here that you really liked? Maybe someone's asked this before, but if they did, I missed out on it. I heard there were a bunch of puppies once, that sounds like it was probably a good one. I thought Hogwarts was pretty fun, but I know it wasn't like that for everyone. If you can't think of any events you liked, maybe just talk about some of the good stuff that mighta happened to you here. Friends you've made you wouldn't have gotten to meet elsewhere, stuff like that.

I'll be in the diner all day if anyone wants to talk in person.

[Later in the afternoon, anyone who comes into the diner will find that he's abandoned his post at the counter, having taken up residence in a corner booth with his mop and bucket resting against the wall nearby. He's made himself comfortable in the booth itself, sitting length-wise with his feet sticking out of the end, several sheets of paper spread out across the table with the Rabbit Hole's basic menu next to them as a reference. There are a few scrapped attempts already-- sketches in colored pencil of menu designs he's decided he doesn't like, but it's pretty clear that he's undertaken a Project.]

[Aww, hi, Kanji. Have a Diner coworker come over and hang out with you in the meantime in the afternoon. He has to prepare stuff for the next day too since people just don't up and stop eating once a day is over, so they have to always be ready.

No apron, but Kanji might see a rare sight: Minato's right eye. He had his bangs clipped up and away from it since he was going to be working. (Too bad I don't really have icons for that though!)]

[His face flushes just a little bit; even from friends, he's still not great about accepting compliments.]

I dunno if I'll keep any of 'em. Just thought it might be kinda fun. The old menus have been around for a long time, thought maybe we could use somethin' new.

I did like the Hogwarts one. [ Not a fan of the recent stuff that's been happening though. ] It's... strange. It's like these events that are happening, they're kind of changing our lives a little. Like I have these memories of growing up in Hogwarts and I know they're not supposed to be real? But it's kind of nice, you know. [ Yeah. It's nice until things start to get more than a little complicated, but okay, he's not going to focus on the negative aspects of it. ]

I haven't been here too long though. Hogwarts was pretty much the first event I ever experienced. Personally, I'd love to hear about the more fun stuff too.

It is kinda weird, huh? I mean, I've got those memories now, too, an' I know they ain't real, but... I kinda like havin' 'em. I know not everyone is gonna feel that way. People don't like their memories bein' messed with. Can't say I blame 'em.

I've almost been here a year now-- I haven't seen a lot of 'fun' events, but sometimes you hear about 'em.

It’s only been a handful of days since he last got yelled at by small children, and it’s hardly something Rip particularly craves.

Still, the question posed inspires others—and Rip is always one to seek out information.]

Hogwarts? [He holds back any other commentary for now, despite the fact that there are quite a few things he could say about the futility of seeing the positive in Wonderland.

He’s not going to offer up that much ammunition.]

Yeah! I mean, it wasn't a walk in the park for everyone... we all forgot who we really were and had new memories an' all, but I made some pretty good friends. Got to play-- Quidditch, I think it's called? Hell of a lot better than when we went to Neverland and everyone was huntin' everyone else, and way better than landing ourselves in that hell dimension for a few days.

I wasn't too crazy about the school part, but the magic was pretty fun, an' I went and explored a haunted house with some friends and started learning to play that game with the brooms. Coulda been a lot worse.

I remember a few good events. The one with the....the event where we had the dating cafe. That was a good event, for me anyway.

Yeah, that'd be a fun one. Kinda like goin' home-- except, uh. I hope the date cafe went better than the one back home did.

Personally, I liked the mummy event, but I've been told I have a pretty skewed idea of what's "fun." Still, a few days of taking out zombie pygmies who can't even infect you? Practically a vacation, as far as I'm concerned.

It says I liked Christmas? But that's because I remembered something. I don't know if everyone else liked it. Probably not.

Hogwarts is a school for magic and stuff. Nobody remembered who they really were, but we all got to be students there for a few days-- or some people worked there, I think. I remember there being pretty good candy.

[Whatever project he's working on catches Caroline's eye as she's heading out of the diner after grabbing a pie to go for one of the many get-togethers she has with her friends. Sure, she could grab one from a cupboard, but doing it this way made it feel more normal somehow.

But she sees color and paper and is attracted to it like a moth to a flame.]

[He startles a little when she approaches, if only because he'd been so focused-- partway through sketching a rabbit with a monocle climbing up over the words 'The Rabbit Hole' on one of the menu layouts he's drawn up. He looks up at her, flushing slightly-- girls still have that effect on him, even if he's not nearly as nervous around them as he used to be.]

Tryin' to design a new menu. Give it a little personality, maybe. I dunno, none of them really feel right so far.

There was also, uhm, one last summer where we all had to do Halloween in June? We, uh, t-trick or treated and got a bunch of candy, and I got to do a big Mew Mew cosplay group!

Hogwarts was pretty cool. There was also one where we all got mutant powers and a few where we got to cross over to the Mirror side which... okay, maybe good isn't the right word for it, but we got to learn more about Wonderland, and that was neat. And there were all those parties that came with really hard puzzles!

I remember the mutant powers one. Wasn't so fun for me, but I mean-- I was okay. Spent most of it helpin' to take care of someone who was hurt real bad, though, so havin' fun with super powers wasn't really an option.

[Keeping a stray human from dying on his watch had taken priority.]
