[Early in the morning, the network will be greeted by the video feed of an intense young man in a school uniform. He maintains that intensity as he begins his declarations.]

Good morning, people of wonderland! This is Kiyotaka Ishimaru. If we have not met before, I am a student from Hope's Peak Academy, where I am known as the Super High School Level Public Morals Committee Member! We have endured quite some events lately, haven't we? They have resulted in several delays of this message, but I will not wait any longer and risk becoming a procrastinator! I am addressing you all today to make a few announcements, so listen up!

There are two proposals I would like to put forth. The first is to set up an arrangement that I organized the last time that I was trapped somewhere. Every morning, anyone who so wishes is free to join me in the dining hall for breakfast! There, we can swap information to keep ourselves updated about the mysteries of this place while we prepare for the day!

Secondly, who's up for some serious studying?! I have noticed that there is no formal education system in place in this world, and this is a crying shame! However, in the absence of a school, it is important that we keep our minds sharp. This is no excuse to slack off! So, I think that it is also important to organize study groups. We can meet up in the library regularly and coordinate our studies of the the wealth of knowledge contained there! There may be some language barriers to deal with, as I have noticed that the books in the library do not translate like our spoken words do. However, I am sure that we will be able to work around that! This will also be a valuable opportunity for me to work more on my studies of English, so I welcome the challenge!

[With that, he smiles and practically chuckles.]

[Oh no. Was he feeling shy? Because that only continued to make her feel bashful. Look at these shy nerds...

To hide her embarrasment, she attempts to chuckle, albeit nervously. But she's at least able to give him direct eye contact.]

I'm very happy to hear that. I'll be sure to make us snacks for the study session! We have to eat to keep the brain going after all. So um... I'll make riceballs for sure! What other foods do you like, Ishimaru-kun?

Hmm... Snacks can make for a very important fuel for a rigorous study session! I do happen to like rice balls. Cookies and chocolate treats are also acceptable in moderation... But for a healthier option, I don't mind bananas and various types of fruit.

[He then quickly points at the screen.]

However, keep in this mind that this burden does not have to lie on you! I am very capable of gathering and preparing snacks as well, Maizono-kun!

[She's listening to him with a smile, making a mental note of everything that he just said.

The sudden finger pointing causes her to look surprised for a few seconds. But it doesn't take long for her to get over her shock, because how typical of Ishimaru. She's trying her hardest not to giggle at him.]

Then the two of us and prepapre and bring snacks together? I was planning on making riceballs by hand, so any help would be appreciated! Especially if we want to eat a lot.

That sounds like a reasonable compromise! If you do need any help with those riceballs, I would gladly lend a hand. The formation of riceballs has been the central point of my culinary studies, after all! We should try not to indulge ourselves too much, but it is also good to have a lot of food on hand in case it takes particularly long!

...Ah! Also, do you happen to have any cabbage left?

I'd love to have your help. [She giggles.] You sound like the riceball expert, so I'll be relying on you. What else have you learned from your culinary studies?

Sadly, I lost the cabbage during the event. [Which at the time, made child!Sayaka sad, she grew attatched to that cabbage!] But we can always get a new and fresher cabbage from the Dining room! Did you want to make something with cabbage?

It is a field that I am still studying, but my other person specialty is rice with green tea. I have also practiced making different shapes out of the rice balls. The star shape is most difficult one!

[Then he frowns for a moment at the fate of the cabbage.]

Ah... I am sorry to hear that about the cabbage. But you are right! It will be a simple matter to find another. We could always prepare something like cabbage rolls!

With time, I'm sure you'll be better in cooking. I'd love to try your green tea one day. The different shaped rice balls are such a creative idea! I want to see them in person. The only shaped rice balls I've made were the heart shaped ones I made for you on Valentines day. I could learn a thing or two from you.

[Alas poor cabbbage, they knew it well...]

I hope it's in a better place at least... [The mention of cabbage rolls immediately brightens her up.] Cabbage rolls sound delicious! We definitely have to make those.

Why thank you, Maizono-kun! I would be glad to share any of the products of my culinary studies with you! [Now he blushes slightly as he recalls that Valentines Day present.] ...Ah, that's right! You made them very well. You may have a real knack for shaping rice balls already!

[He nods solemnly at her words on the cabbage before he moves on.]

I am glad that you agree! Then let's officially add that to the list!

That's so kind of you, Ishimaru-kun. I can't wait. I've been craving some good green tea. [Along with Ishimaru, she could feel her own cheeks turning red from the compliment.] Why thank you! I'd like to get better and make some unique shapes like... panda bears or kitty cats! So I would love the chance to learn from you.

[She quickly nods in agreement.]

Lets! I think that might be a good amount of food to have. If something else comes to your mind, let me know! I enjoy cooking.

Then I shall do my best to ensure that my green tea is up to the task! [He gasps, somewhat amused by those shapes.] What interesting ideas! I have tried a cat once, but never a panda bear. I will gladly share what knowledge I can with you!

Of course! I will keep that offer in mind. But we do have to draw the line somewhere. After all, this will be a study session, not a buffet!

You made a cat once? [Sayaka lets out a small gasp. A slight tint of pink colors her cheeks from how adorable that was.] That's... that's so cute! Please make it again, I want to see it! And we can learn to make panda bears together.

[It was a little thing, but it made her beyond happy. She finds herself smiling at him with a smile that was filled with serenity.]

You're absolutely right, Ishimaru-kun. We're here to study, after all! We can save our big feasts for making lunch or dinner.

Yes, of course! That was just part of my practice. I would gladly try again! And I would be twice as glad to learn such a thing with you!

[She did seem to be smiling very sincerely, and Ishimaru smiles right back.]

It is good that you understand! By eating in moderation, we take care of our bodies as well as our minds!

I'm very excited to see it. This gives me even more things to look forward to...

[Because he mental image of Ishimaru making cat shaped riceballs is the cutest and purest thing ever.]

Oh! Speaking of that. What kind of subjects would you be interested in studying for our study da―

[She quickly stops mid sentence, suddenly feeling embarrassed from her slip up. That was way too close, Sayaka Maizono!! Her cheeks start to turn a shade of pink and she nervously gulps.]

[He blinks in confusion, wondering what she could have been trying to say. Day? Or... ah, when she was younger, she had said date, hadn't she...

Ishimaru scratches at his cheek nervously as he responds.]

A-ah... That is a good question! And it exposes such a critical oversight on my part. I have not put any thought into what subjects to start with!!

[Pause.]

Before I contemplate any further, Maizono-kun, are there any subjects where you feel that you could use a large amount of improvement in?!

[At first, she's dead silent as she stares at him. Oh no, did he catch on?? Did he realize what she was nearly going to say? Her whole face was starting to heat up from the thought of embarrasing herself in front of Ishimaru.

But she's immediately relieved when he doesn't say anything about it. She felt like a smooth criminal.]

Hmmm...

[She ponders to herself for a few seconds, thinking about what she needed help with.]

If it's all right with you, I could always use help in math! It was never my strongest subject.

[Maizono... The smoothest of criminals...]

Mathematics, you say? I would be thrilled to tutor you in that field, Maizono-kun!

Algebra, geometry, calculus... You name it, I'm the man to help you!!

[Ishimaru are you okay? You've been hit by a ~*smooth criminal*~]

Thank you so much Ishimaru-kun! I knew I could count on you to help. Let's see... I've never been good with geometry, so I could use some tutoring in that. Measuring dimensions and what not have always confused me.

[She was never one to get excited over math, but seeing Ishimaru's enthusiasm was infecting her and she was feeling a bit excited at the prospect of learning one of her worst subjects, especially if she got to improve at it.]

[There's a bit of a pause as she lets those words sink in. Suddenly, she feels embarrassed, her whole face is heating up as she's stammering with her words.]

And how much we'll learn too, of course!!

B-because of me? [He repeats that for a moment, blushing slightly and being flustered at that. He's never known what it's like to inspire someone that much before.]

A-ah... Such measures are normal for a hard-working type! I am glad that my diligence is successful! And I... I also look forward to all of the learning breakthroughs that we can uncover together!

Y-Yes... [Oh no, she's so embarrassed and she wanted to go hide somewhere. Her whole face felt like it was on fire.] You really inspire me, in a lot of ways!

[She wasn't sure if saying that made the situation better or worse, but it was true, none the less.]

M-Me too. [Sayaka wanted to faceplam, she was still stuttering.] It'll be nice and I think that both of us will learn something new from this too.

I- I am honored to act as an inspiration to such a shining and splendid classmate! [He shouts as his cheeks redden.] I hope to keep on doing my best for you, Maizono-kun!!

If we could both learn from this experience... Yes, that would be excellent! That is what being young and studying is all about!

[You're only going to make her even more red, Ishimaru!]

Y-You flatter me too much. [But she can't stop grinning from ear to ear.] And I'll do the same. Let me continue to do my best for you as well. I'll support you no matter what.

Ishimaru-kun! [There was the tiniest trace of a pout forming on her lips, but she let's it slide. Or else she feels like they'd be here all day arguing this silly point. She was certain no one wanted to see their banter over the network.] If anything, I don't sing [~~HA HA HA HA~~] you enough praise. But... [Her pout transforms into a smile.] It makes my heart feel warm and fuzzy that you trust my word, because I fully trust your words too.

Yes, let's! We'll do our best in this place. I want to do all the things we couldn't do back home like, play video games with Nanami-san, eat all the cake, watch a movie and even go on a picnic! I'd like to experience everything and...um, it would make me really happy if we got to do some of those things together...

[Slow down Maizono! But even though she placed her career as an idol above everything else, she had to admit, she did feel like she had more freedom here and that she could live like a normal girl.]
