[ Cullen waits by the forest, near where the lizard's watery tail disappears between the trees. Half an armory is propped against a fallen trunk, lest any potential sparring partners did not think to bring their own. He trains alone as he waits, sword in hand, practicing stances. Very rarely he remembers to glance at his communication device, to see if any messages require a response. ]

[ A while after the broadcast, Robyn approaches, adopting a smile that suggests she's testing the waters. She's dressed for sparring, hair drawn up into a long braid, though she carries no weapon. ]

Hello again. [ She ventures lightly. ] ... I was being taught to use a sword previously by another warrior-ex-templar, but I haven't been keeping up with it. I wondered if you might consider helping me a bit?

[ Even if it's just making weapon suggestions. She glances briefly to the pile that he'd brought with him. ]

If you have other students at the moment, though, I understand.

[ Cullen shakes his head. ]

None so far. I'm only gauging interest.

[ Cullen looks at her briefly. He still has trouble gauging where the two of them stand, truthfully. Fortunately she came to spar. It hardly matters when they only spar.

He pulls two practice swords from his pile. ]

Show me where you left off.

That's fair enough.

[ There's... something there, something that she assumes is tension, but with so few of them left, there shouldn't be room for that. Not in her mind, anyway.

Robyn accepts the practice sword with a nod, stepping back. She pauses, thinking back to... Maker, over a year (a year and a half?) ago when Alistair had begun to teach her, and she tries to recreate the stance, brow ducked in concentration. ]

All right. [ The Warden breathes, going in for a swing after she's gathered herself. ]

Gotta wonder why everyone's always lookin' for personal training. Seems like there ain't no shortage of available expertise.

[ Nora arrives a couple of moments after Cullen, waving as she makes her way over with her axe over one shoulder, leaning on a tree when she arrives as she waits for him to finish the stances he's been going through. ]

[ He glances at her weapon, and selects a matching war axe for himself. Picks a training shield, and holds up another. ]

[When Nathaniel shows up, he's conspicuously without out his bow (still slightly smarting from that one time when he accidentally shot the Commander), but instead has two short swords held in one hand.

He pauses by the veritable armory leaning up against the tree trunk, and the look he shoots over to Cullen is edging on amused.]

You look like you're expecting an entire battalion.

Not just yet. [ He turns to greet Nathaniel with a nod. ] So far I only expect a handful of people who never held a weapon in their life, and will need somewhere to start.
