[ While Wonderland is normally in a constant state of flux and there's always something going on, things had gotten especially tense in the past week. It's understandable, given how things ended with the carnival, and now with all this talk of war.

The Lois that appears on the feed today presents a more casual vibe than the last time, and this is an improvement. She still isn't thrilled about being here, but she has family here and she is finally starting to settle in. Her hair is pulled back and she's wearing one of those ridiculous Superman shirts they sell to tourists on any street corner in Metropolis -- less Pulitzer Prize-Winning Journalist Lois Lane and more Just Lois. ]

So. A question, and it's a quick one: what do you know about the Mirrors and what do you know about yours? I'm not asking for the Official Explanation here, I've got that; I'd like to hear some first-hand accounts.

I know mine's a dick. He's everything I would never want to be, and he thinks it's fun and entertaining to push my buttons until I break the mirror.

Sometimes I wonder if the Queen really is behind it, or if they're just all the shit we don't want to be but got no more proof of that than we do anything else here.

A few acquaintances, mostly. People who... aren't quite the same version that I know, a couple who seem to know me but whom I have never met. [ She hesitates on the next part, if only because she's still not sure how much personal information she's willing to share. Might as well. ] My son is here, too. He says he's already met his mirror.

The last time mine crossed over she murdered two people and maimed several others.

[Basically, she's a charmer. Although she only directly murdered one of those people, Freya considers her mirror responsible for the rest, given that she forced someone else's hand to do it.]

Well, at least she knows how to make an impression. [ Bad joke. Bad joke. You'll have to forgive her. ] I'm guessing it's safe to assume she'll be willing to serve or cause some kind of chaos, if given the chance?

Exactly how did she manage to cross over?

As long as it suits her own ends, yes. She had a goal and a plan and she had just enough leeway to execute it and get what she wanted.

[Which was Elena Gilbert's blood. Freya still doesn't know what she wanted it for and that worries her more than most.]

Two scientists on the Real side were trying to build a means to return us to our own universes and it backfired, allowing their mirrors to slip over without the Queen's permission. Naturally she didn't take that well, and unleashed all of her mirrors as a result - both to punish the Reals for their ingenuity, and to find those who escaped her leash.

My mirror knows a good opportunity when she sees one.

And it's mirrors like that that worry me in all this...

My father is an Army general who would have loved to see a gun in my hand, I've done dozens of stories on the ground in war-torn countries -- I've heard countless stories and seen it for myself. I don't like war, but a few months is hardly enough time to try and negotiate peace with the Queen. We need to know who and what we're up against. Even if she can force them to fight, there's a difference when they're fighting to gain something or for something they believe in.

Mine is much more conservative than I am, and she's apparently kind of a cold bitch. And doesn't hold me in very high regards. That's all I really know though, I've interacted with my boyfriend's mirror more than my own.

I am curious just because you're in a rather unique position here -- how do your boyfriend and his mirror differ from each other?

For one thing his mirror is much more modern -- my boyfriend is...from a different time period and in many ways he's still stuck in those times, but his mirror is much more adjusted to the world as it is now.

[Cissie appears... a bit anxious. She can't help it. LOIS LANE, even when she's being Just Lois is still LOIS LANE for Cissie, but. She actually has something relevant to contribute to this, and it's... more than a little anxiety-inducing, to actually come out and admit. It's just... not something she wants everyone out there to witness.]

...I've kind of avoided meeting mine, and I think she's kind of doing the same thing. But... I'm met Tim Drake's. And he told me about my mirror, and Kon's. They're not... [She frowns, trying to find the right words.] They're not bad? Like, they're not evil, the way some of the mirrors are? Just--very different. It was kind of like meeting a Tim from another part of the multiverse, from some alternate timeline, you know?

[She gives an awkward shrug, and then holds a hand up in an awkward wave.] I'm Cissie, by the way. Cissie King-Jones.

[She's not sure... where she fits, in Jon's universe. He and Damian didn't show any sign of recognizing her or her name, and she knows there's no Kon-El/Conner Kent there. But if there is a Cissie King-Jones, Olympic medalist, in their world, she wouldn't be surprised if Jon and Damian just hadn't heard of her. Lois is another story.]

[ With what she'd heard about the Mirrors, Lois expected the response to vary. She's just glad she's got people talking either way. ]

From what I've gathered, most people aren't too fond of their Mirrors. Personally, I think that's a good way of looking at it -- to view them as an alternate universe version of ourselves rather than as an evil twin or as our mirror image. It seems that some are that clean-cut and straight-forward, but it seems most are a bit more complex than that.

[ Unfortunately, the name doesn't seem to ring any immediate bells, though she does know Tim Drake and she's gotten to know Kon a bit, here, too. If she's friends with them, there's a good chance she knows Jon, too. Lois smiles politely. ]

It's nice to meet you, Cissie. I'm Lois, but something tells me you already know that.

Our mirror has been described as a "royal asshole". After encountering them ourselves, we agree with this assessment.

Interactions with other mirrors have been non hostile. We have acquired allies.

I haven't met mine, though we've written back and forth. Mostly, I've talked to my brother's Mirror. He's... different.

My brother's an Irwin. Where I'm from that means he takes risks on camera, both for fun and profit. His job is extremely dangerous, and his life expectancy isn't that long.

His Mirror's a Fictional. That's the least dangerous job you can have in the blogging world. You don't even need a Class A license. My Shaun would go insane.

[Of course, being a blogger of any type has been dangerous these days, especially if you're tied to her site. But the motivation for getting into the field is very different.]
