[Over in the Land of Terror and Construction, the Once-ler is not having a good time. Nope. Not even a little bit. That gif is misleading.
No, the Once-ler started out on a structure far away from the door and has been slowly making his way across the land ever since. Currently, he's swinging on a girder, holding onto the support wire for dear life. There's a structure with a long platform that leads to the door, and the Once-ler is psyching himself up to jump as it swings closer.]
Okay. I can do this. I've just gotta-OWOAH okay that's really far down!
[Some orange birds fly over his hand and laugh really loudly at him. One of them end steals his hat, and he instinctively reaches up to fix it, but grabs the wire again immediately when the girder swings up too high.]
Hey! Come back with that!
[But they don't. They just fly up even higher so they can perch and watch the Once-ler in fascination. He pouts, but takes a deep breath, readying himself for the right moment
and
finally
he jumps! And he does not stick the landing, tumbling onto the platform with an "oof"! But he made it, and he's alive, and that's probably good. Feel free to either have a good laugh at him or come visit him in his Land.]

Aaaand, with that crash, the Lorax is pretty sure that he's been through enough for the day. Ouch. The Lorax hurries over and helps the Once-ler to his feet.]
You okay? That was quite a jump.

Yeah, no, I'm okay. Really. I probably would have died if I missed, but I'm good now!
[He bends a little bit in different directions, demonstrating his lack of broken bones. The bird with his hat is still watching them from above, and he quacks with approval.]

But...the rest of that doesn't ring a bell at all, and it shows. He's pretty sure he'd remember a place like this.]

This place looks like your factory. When they were building it, anyway.

[He's kind of awed by that. He has blueprints for it, and honestly he can kind of see parts of it in the framework - the gearimagigs are familiar, and he can kind of tell where the taily pipe is supposed to go. And actually, if he connects the dots, it does kind of look like his plans, if his plans extended out into forever.]
...Well. I hope my factory actually had a way down to the ground.

The door's on this platform here - [Turns it behind where he's standing. He finally made it there, so he's not totally screwed.] - and I started waaay over there, on that one with the gearimagigs on it. [Said structure is several structure away, so he's had a fun afternoon of riding steel girders.]
About that ground floor though, um.
[He moves closer to the edge and tilts the view just over it. There doesn't seem to be a ground floor, or if there is it's very far down. It's only a quick look though, because The Once-ler doesn't want to jinx his luck and fall to his doom.]
To be honest, I don't know how this thing is even standing.
