The database is ready. I will be distributing it on individual flash drives today.

If you have not already requested a copy, but would like one, please let me know.

[And with that posted to the network, Kirigiri is going around distributing copies of the database. Feel free to tag her with requests for a copy, with characters receiving their copies, or just as she wanders around the Mansion finding people. If your character requested a copy but you don't tag this post, no worries! Just assume she left the flash drive wherever your character told her to.]

[OOC: The database is based on Kirigiri's notes, which are available here. ~~I haven't updated it to add any information from the recent event yet (I'll be working on that this weekend), but it is all technically included in the copy she's distributing ICly.~~ Never mind, it should be up to date now.]

[The gloved finger of his left hand pauses on the top corner of the next page of the book. He'd just slipped it underneath the next page ready to turn it when he'd heard his name.

He doesn't recognize the voice, nor the strange addition to his name that she put on the end but regardless Sephiroth slowly turns his head first, peering at her over armored shoulders with a silver bang lining the edge of his face before turning more to face the one who would disturb him.

There weren't many people yet he had given his name to in this place, though that wasn't to rule out that she may know of his name from other means.]

Yes?

[Apparently unintimidated, Kirigiri steps closer so he doesn't have to crane his neck to look at her.]

My name is Kyouko Kirigiri. I wasn't sure which floor your room was on, so I came to find you here.

Kirigiri. [A pause. As if recalling the name.]

Ah. The flashdrive. [Sephiroth nods, something about him relaxing a great deal more. She'd come here on his invitation, nothing more. It was refreshing to see someone follow up their word so diligently with no apparent ulterior motive.]

I didn't realize it would be ready so soon.

I was able to compile the data without interruption.

[She takes the flashdrive out of her jacket pocket and sets it on the table next to his book.]

The data is still rather spare. I hope to add more to it as I gather information about things that occurred prior to my arrival, as well as others' observations of events.

[His eyes fell from her face to the flashdrive now resting next to the book. Looking over it for a few moments, attempting to logically figure out how to access the data on it - though, he's not exactly a techie]

It will undoubtedly prove useful and even more so as time progresses here. Could you-

[Pause. Swallow. He's incredibly inexperienced in asking for help. Asking anyone for help in any capacity admits that he's weak in some way. However, it wouldn't make any sense for him to take this flashdrive, with all it's information on, if he didn't know how to access it.

It takes a lot of effort to swallow back that pride.]

[With a slight nod, Kirigiri picks up the drive again.]

You need a device with a proper port. [She indicates the USB plug end of the drive.] Most computers should have one.

[She gets her network device out of a pocket. Hers happens, for whatever reason, to have a USB port on it. She indicates the port, then plugs the flash drive in. The drive opens automatically, showing the single file on it. She holds the device out so he can see this happens, then taps the file on the screen. It opens up the database.]

It should work similarly on any device you plug it in to. Once you have opened the database, you can use the search function to locate the appropriate data. There is information on the events as well as general information about Wonderland and the creatures that live here. That includes the Mirrors.

[She unplugs the flash drive and sets it down again.]

The data is still limited, but I will update your copy monthly with new information.

[The book on the table is deserted for the time being as Sephiroth turns the chair to watch Kirigiri demonstrate how to use the flashdrive. He hadn't realized there was such a port on his own device, that's all. Simple enough.

He fidgets a little in his seat to get his own device out of one of the front pocket of his leather pants and finds the similar port right exactly where it is on her device. He could spend as long as he liked pouring over the helpful data that might be contained on it, later.]

Got it. I assume you would stay in touch with regards to the updates?

[She nods.]

I will.

[His own device is placed down next to the flashdrive and Sephiroth offers one more nod to Kirigiri. Unless she had anything else to discuss with him, or ask of him then there might be the 'you should go now' hint.]

Sounds good.

What would you expect in return?

[Because nothing comes for free.]

[Kirigiri recognizes the dismissal and is about to depart when he asks her that. She pauses, then sweeps her hair over her shoulder with one hand. Part of her wants to be affronted, but she understands the logic of the question.]

I do not expect anything, Sephiroth-san, and I will not ask for anything.

[There is that addition to his name again. Sephiroth considers to ask but his curiosity leans more towards Kirigiri's reasons for taking this database creation upon herself.]

That's incredibly selfless of you.

[Some people are just like that, he knows. Though it's not always been so beneficial towards him. Such as those that would take it upon themselves to 'save' his Planet back home.]

I shall remember this, for when there is some assistance I can offer in return. You need only to ask.

I appreciate that.

[She steps back, inclining her head.]

[He inclines his head towards her, as a final no of farewell almost.]

Oh - and it's the fifth floor. For next time. [He smirks a little, though has already half-turned back to his book]

[Kirigiri pauses.]

Understood.

[And off she goes. She's aware she's been dismissed.]
