[OOC: The database is based on Kirigiri's notes, which are available here. I haven't updated it to add any information from the recent event yet (I'll be working on that this weekend), but it is all technically included in the copy she's distributing ICly. Never mind, it should be up to date now.]

[ Stiles comes outside of the library in a couple of minutes, looking generally disheveled, and looks around before spotting--whoa, okay, not what he was expecting, but he'll take it. Stiles waves her down and approaches, looking all kinds of curious. ]

Can I ask you a question? [ One second pause. ] I'm gonna ask anyway. Why did you want to make a database of everything?

[Kirigiri doesn't miss a beat at the abrupt question. She uses one gloved hand to push her hair over her shoulder.]

A record made at the time of an event or shortly afterward, uncolored by memory, provides a more accurate picture of what happened. If we can create a long enough record that doesn't depend heavily on longterm recall, we may be able to identify patterns.
