The database is ready. I will be distributing it on individual flash drives today.

If you have not already requested a copy, but would like one, please let me know.

[And with that posted to the network, Kirigiri is going around distributing copies of the database. Feel free to tag her with requests for a copy, with characters receiving their copies, or just as she wanders around the Mansion finding people. If your character requested a copy but you don't tag this post, no worries! Just assume she left the flash drive wherever your character told her to.]

[OOC: The database is based on Kirigiri's notes, which are available here. ~~I haven't updated it to add any information from the recent event yet (I'll be working on that this weekend), but it is all technically included in the copy she's distributing ICly.~~ Never mind, it should be up to date now.]

First, actually. I can meet you on a higher floor if that is better.

First is perfect. I'll see you there.

[And Martha is heading over to the library's entrance, keeping an eye out for Kirigiri.]

[Kirigiri is waiting outside of the library, just to one side of the doors, arms crossed over her chest. She hasn't been waiting long and offers an easy wave with one hand when she sees Martha.]

[And there she is. Martha quickly walks over, nodding back in greeting.]

It's really nice of you do to this for everyone. I've picked up a lot of information about this place already, but I tend to get the feeling that there's still a lot I'm missing.

[Kirigiri nods. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a USB flash drive. She offers it to Martha.]

I think that's a common feeling. Having all of our observations in one place may help us to build the larger picture, though.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot in the database yet. But I can add anything you think should be added.

[She takes the flash drive carefully, turning it over in her hands a few times. She remembers how Kirigiri had a laptop with her when they talked before, and makes a note to ask her closet for a laptop so that she can view the file.]

Well, I'm still so new, I don't know if I'd have much to add. But if I do think of anything, I'll definitely let you know.

Thank you. Much of it is based on my own observations, so I'm sure there are details I've missed.

How long have you been here, anyway? [It would be good to get someone who's been here for years to add to it, but that all depends on how willing that person would be. Mark's the first person who comes to mind...]

Three months. I am gathering older data, though, from those who have been here longer. Meltzer-san is providing me with a list of events similar to the last one--those that aren't based on the memories of the people residing here.

So you know Mark, too? He's been very informative when I've spoken to him, too. [It sounds like Kirigiri already has everything under control. Martha tightens her grip around the flash drive in her pocket and then smiles.] In any case, thank you again. I'll be giving this a look right away.

[Kirigiri pauses, pensive, then speaks again before Martha can walk away.]

You are a doctor, correct, Jones-san?

Yeah, that's right. And just Martha is fine, you know.

[She realizes that it's a way of showing respect in Japan, the same as being called Miss Jones, but it really isn't necessary.]

Ah...alright. [Mental note: complete.]

When you have time, I'd like to consult you about something.

Oh? What's that?

Memory loss.

I don't know that it's within your area of expertise, but I thought you might be able to advise me.

[It's not what she'd been expecting to hear, and so Martha pauses for a moment. Why would Kirigiri need to know about that? Has she suffered from some form of it...?]

Not exactly my expertise, no, but if you can tell me the specific problem I might be able to look into it, or at least give some kind of professional opinion.

[She shrugs a bit sheepishly.]

I would appreciate that.

[She fingers her hair, feeling a little uncomfortable.]

I have deliveries to make still, but I will be in touch to speak with you about this.

Of course. You know where to find me. [Martha hopes so, at least. Everyone should know where the clinic is by now, right?]

[Kirigiri nods, then gives a small wave and heads off to make more flash drive deliveries.]
