The database is ready. I will be distributing it on individual flash drives today.

If you have not already requested a copy, but would like one, please let me know.

[And with that posted to the network, Kirigiri is going around distributing copies of the database. Feel free to tag her with requests for a copy, with characters receiving their copies, or just as she wanders around the Mansion finding people. If your character requested a copy but you don't tag this post, no worries! Just assume she left the flash drive wherever your character told her to.]

[OOC: The database is based on Kirigiri's notes, which are available here. ~~I haven't updated it to add any information from the recent event yet (I'll be working on that this weekend), but it is all technically included in the copy she's distributing ICly.~~ Never mind, it should be up to date now.]

[He takes it with a frown and inspects it. Looks kinda like some kind of weapon component.] Ain't never seen 't before.

[Kirigiri half suspected that. She nods and pulls out her network device.]

Any device that has a port it can plug in to will allow you to view the data stored on it.

[She indicates a USB port on her device.]

If you plug it in here, the file should open automatically.

Y'just...plug it in an' information jus' appears? [Sounds too good to be true.]

That's usually how it works.

[She takes another flash drive out of her pocket and plugs it in to demonstrate. The folder opens automatically, and Kirigiri uses the touch screen to open the database file.]

[He watches, absorbing everything she does.] ...Guess I got some learnin' t'do.

It has its uses. [That's meant as encouragement, though her demeanor doesn't change much.] Do you have this sort of technology in your world?

Not 'tall. Guess we mighta gotten t'it eventually. No way of knowin' now.

[Kirigiri pauses and looks over at him.]

...Has something happened?

[He nods once, not really looking at her.] Th' Calamity.

[Kirigiri's not got at social stuff, but she gets that he may not want to talk about something called "th' Calamity".]

...I apologize.

S'okay. Folk here ain't ever 'eard 'f it. S'lucky it was just th' one world.

Still.

[Urgh. She really has no idea what to say or do. She fingers a strand of hair as she tries to think.

...Ultimately her solution is to just admit it.]

I'm not sure what to say.

S'alright, ya ain't gotta say nothin'. Thanks, though, fer carin'.

[Kirigiri nods. She's interested in what happened, but it seems rude to ask. After a moment, she speaks again.]

I will be adding new information to the database as I observe it and learn it. I plan to redistribute a new version each month or so.

[She waves a little.]
