A polite reminder to my fellow mirrors: though we have been given free reign of this side for the week, it is still the Queen's property. I will not be foolish enough as to suggest you all refrain from messing with your others' belongings. Still, there is no need to be ill-mannered to the residents or damage the grounds.

We are guests here. Please keep that in mind, as well as your manners.

We were ordered only to "do what we wish." Perhaps that counts as permission to damage what we see fit, but I still find it in poor taste to use the Queen's reward to disturb unrelated parties. It reflects poorly on more than just us mirrors, but on the Queen herself.

That's not the way I see it. They're right to be afraid of us! There's no way that the Queen is interested in having those "real things" respect her as a benevolent ruler. And, hey, that's not what I'm interested in either.

I'm interested in making sure it's perfectly clear that you do not fuck with us.

Using unnecessary force in such a way only encourages disobedience. There's a medium between benevolent ruler and tyrannical villain that I believe Her Majesty understands well enough. [Well, in his opinion.]

But that is beside the point entirely. Unless I'm mistaken, the dormouse has done nothing to demand wrath of any sort. I doubt it will interfere with your "fun" to be a touch more mindful of others.

How boorish. It's that attitude that gives us such a poor reputation beyond the mirrors, you realize. We are all servants to the Queen of Hearts—if anything, we should show our respect to those who do not cast a reflection, who are permitted to move as they please.

I don't see what my other has to do with this. Do you think that, because I choose not to lower myself to his level, I have some sympathy for him? Pity would be a better word. [though with the way he scoffs all of that out, it doesn't sound like either of those would make good descriptions]

Someone who doesn't want payback for being stuck on the wrong side of the mirror sounds like a Real Side sympathiser to me. The Queen of Hearts deserves this side of the mirror, don't you think?

You shouldn't confuse your personal feelings with rights. We do not deserve anything until the Queen deems it so. Her rule over this side is inevitable, and if we are given the privilege of remaining on this side then it would be one of the greatest honours to receive... but it is not something that we can say we "deserve". It is a right that we must earn through our loyalty and hard work.

Meddling with my other does not show loyalty, and it doesn't assist the Queen in any way. It's a pointless activity, and I would rather not waste my time when I could be doing more useful things.

Keeping the edge of my blade and my skills with it sharp, for one. [no such thing as a bad time for training!] There is also the matter of locating and eliminating blind spots that mirrors do not cover, measuring their defences and available weaponry, searching for any signs of plotting against the Queen...

I'm sure you could name many more useful things, if you didn't dedicate so much time to your personal grudges.

I'm inclined to agree. I think it's counterproductive to make enemies of our other selves. After all, never know when you might need them.

... Perhaps. If they could be taught to show loyalty to Her Majesty, certainly things would run much smoother for us all.

I was referring the other realside residents, but that is also a sentiment I can agree with.

Run for too long and you're bound to get blisters. Doesn't hurt to walk, even stroll once in a while. [ who knows what that means just go with it or better yet, ignore it ]
