[The whole broadcast is accompanied by the clank of metal and a sound like cracking, shifting ice. Elsa is clearly pacing around her room.]

Someone, please--something has happened to me, I-I don't...I'm in some kind of metal, like, like armor. It's a curse...some kind of curse, it has to be.

[Her voice gets markedly more frantic.] And Anna! I keep seeing Anna in that--I don't know what it is. The black box. She's alone, she's in danger, and I can't reach her! I have to help her. My sister...

[She's silent for a moment, taking time to metaphorically breathe and calm herself down.]

Someone--please tell me what is going on.

[She chuckles.] I must admit, I scarcely understand what you are saying. You said it was a science, right? It's funny how science and magic can sound the same to people who understand little of either.

Don't worry, I get that sort of reaction from people back home, too! And you know, I think magic has it's own rules, too--I mean, why else would the wizards in stories need all those books to study from? They're just...a lot different from the more typical sciences, and rely on things you can't really measure.

I never thought of it that way. That's interesting. I suppose magic is harder to understand, and more...well, more dangerous.

Mm-hmm. Of course, anything can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing with it.

That's for sure...

But I guess that's just a natural risk of moving forward and trying to develop new things? I mean, obviously you do your best to minimize the risks, but trying something new always has variables you weren't expecting.

That makes sense, I suppose. Trying new things...even when it's not related to science or magic. It's always frightening and risky.

Like trying really weird new foods! Or learning how to ride a bicycle, I know I was really scared the first time I got on one.

Yeah, haha. I remember the first time I tried brussels sprouts.

Ugh, I hated those on sight! Have you ever seen what the plant they grow on looks like? It's super weird!

[If there was ever any evidence of Al's age, it's definitely this.]

[There's a bit of hallow clanking around for a few moments, and the sound of hurried scribbling before the video feed comes on to show a drawing that looks something like this]

[She waits for him to show the drawing and then laughs.] Oh goodness, that's so strange!

Isn't it? I mean, who would look at that and think 'hey, that's something good to eat'?

[She chuckles quietly.] I suppose you could say that about a lot of foods. Just think about milk...

Hehe, you should hear Brother go on about that one! He's got a bias, but it is weird to think that however long ago a guy looked at a calf suckling and thought 'I wonder what that tastes like'.

Heh...yeah. Ah, you know...it's my sister who always liked talking about things like this. Gross things, silly things.

[Al chuckles a bit.] She's the imaginative sort, then? Or does her mind just wander in that direction and there's not really a filter to catch the weirder stuff when she shares?

[She laughs because that's such an accurate description of Anna.] Both, really. She's imaginative, and there's no filter between what she thinks and what she says.

That must make things pretty interesting, then! She sounds like a lot of fun, though.
