Video/Action
[Tohru is broadcasting from the diner. It's all set up very deliberately, as this is an on-purpose post and not an accidental one or anything like that, and Tohru is standing behind the counter, wearing her little pink polaroid camera around.]
Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well.
[And she gives a very tiny little wave.]
Ah, I had two things I wanted to say. I'll try to be quick though. Um, first...I've been practicing a little more at baking, and I wanted to try decorating cookies, so...I have a lot left over here in the diner, if anyone would like some.
[She reaches out and tilts the camera down so everyone can see two platters of cookies on the counter, in fruit and flower shapes. They actually turned out very well! After everyone's gotten a good look, she tilts the camera back up to where it was and smiles. She pulls a photo album out from under the counter and holds it up so it can be seen. ]
And the other thing I wanted to say was that, well. A lot of new people have come to Wonderland recently, it seems! Ah, hello, by the way - my name is Tohru Honda and it's nice to meet you, if you're watching. But, since people come and go very often, I've been trying to keep a photo album so we'll have something to remember people by when they do leave Wonderland. I only started it a couple of months ago, but I would like to try and take everyone's picture at some point, if that's okay. Um, it's also good for seeing who else has been here in the past, or at least I hope it will be when it's been here long enough. I know it isn't much but...its something I can do to help, so I'd like to keep it going as long as I possibly can!
[By the end of that, she looks very determined! She's not much of a fighter or anything like that. She isn't very strong physically, but she can take pictures and keep a record and make cute cookies! And everyone should be doing everything they can, right?]
So, um. If you'd like to have your picture taken, or if you'd like any cookies, please stop by the diner. It's in the first room on the eighth floor. Thank you very much and have a nice day!

S'a fancy way of putting it, but yeah.
[ he's mr.winchester, or whatever. and the fact that she recognizes him can only mean one thing, yet the same lack of instantaneous fire is lacking... which is almost nice. a month into this place had made dealing with all of his ex-friends somewhat tiring. ]
New and rebooted though.

[She knows no one really wants to be here and it leaves her sounding very unsure, but it seems impolite to not welcome him back.]
I'm sorry; this must all be very strange for you. Um, my name is Tohru Honda, and I work in this diner. It's nice to meet you...again? We didn't know each other very well the first time you were here, but sometimes you would come by for a hamburger or a slice of pie.
[They had run into each other maybe once or twice otherwise - the strongest example being when Dean had everyone together for a Thanksgiving dinner. She had come down to help cook, but she had put herself right to work and they hadn't chatted much. Aside from him having been a regular customer in the diner, they're effectively starting from scratch, and Tohru tries to be respectful of that. She can't even imagine what it must be like to come back to Wonderland and not remember a thing about it. She'd be so confused!]

Tohru, huh? S'cute-- and what's even better is what my other-self used to do 'round here. 'Cause burgers and pie? I think I've finally found my place.
[ never gonna leave, just gonna eat his feelings thanks. ]

Well, that's good! I'm glad for that. I know the situation isn't ideal at all, and that everybody wants to go home, but...while people are here, they should be able to have little comforts, like a homecooked meal made by a real person instead of a magical kitchen. That's why we made this diner.
[It had been Ruby's idea, and Tohru still misses her dearly, but she's honored to be running it in her place. She's learned a lot in the last year while trying to keep the diner open, and made a lot of friends because of it.]
