[Tohru is broadcasting from the diner. It's all set up very deliberately, as this is an on-purpose post and not an accidental one or anything like that, and Tohru is standing behind the counter, wearing her little pink polaroid camera around.]

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well.

[And she gives a very tiny little wave.]

Ah, I had two things I wanted to say. I'll try to be quick though. Um, first...I've been practicing a little more at baking, and I wanted to try decorating cookies, so...I have a lot left over here in the diner, if anyone would like some.

[She reaches out and tilts the camera down so everyone can see two platters of cookies on the counter, in fruit and flower shapes. They actually turned out very well! After everyone's gotten a good look, she tilts the camera back up to where it was and smiles. She pulls a photo album out from under the counter and holds it up so it can be seen. ]

And the other thing I wanted to say was that, well. A lot of new people have come to Wonderland recently, it seems! Ah, hello, by the way - my name is Tohru Honda and it's nice to meet you, if you're watching. But, since people come and go very often, I've been trying to keep a photo album so we'll have something to remember people by when they do leave Wonderland. I only started it a couple of months ago, but I would like to try and take everyone's picture at some point, if that's okay. Um, it's also good for seeing who else has been here in the past, or at least I hope it will be when it's been here long enough. I know it isn't much but...its something I can do to help, so I'd like to keep it going as long as I possibly can!

[By the end of that, she looks very determined! She's not much of a fighter or anything like that. She isn't very strong physically, but she can take pictures and keep a record and make cute cookies! And everyone should be doing everything they can, right?]

So, um. If you'd like to have your picture taken, or if you'd like any cookies, please stop by the diner. It's in the first room on the eighth floor. Thank you very much and have a nice day!

[She gives another little wave, and the camera clicks off.]

[A lot of time has passed since then, and Souji's healed and revived since, so Tohru is definitely back to her usual cheery self.]

Ah, those look delicious, Tohru! You really outdid yourself. Did you do flavors for the fruit ones?

[She flushes a little and looks down, but she's obviously very flattered.] A-Ah, um, thank you very much.

I tried to add some flavor to the icings, but I'm not sure they're strong enough. I didn't want to add too much, especially with lemons and limes but...hopefully they'll be okay.

Yeah, the citrus could get a bit overpowering. [From the jostling background of the image,it's pretty clear Alphonse is already on his way up to try some of Tohru's creations.] But if it's not the way you like, there's always next time, right?

[ people come and go. it doesn't really inspire much hope within finnick, but, it must inspire something, as he's bothering to form a reply rather than merely scroll on by on his communicator. it might be the cookies, but, it's a few key things she happens to say that give him pause. she'll be able to see and hear the ocean behind him. ]

How often do people come and go?

[ is it like that of a tribute in an arena? they come, they fight, they die within the span of minutes or days? everything is permanent to finnick, even if people themselves fade away. ]

Hm...unfortunately, I don't know exactly how often it happens, but new people come to Wonderland almost every week. But, at the same time, the amount of people in Wonderland never seems to be much bigger? I'm sure it must be sometimes, but...if people come to Wonderland that often, the mansion would fill up with more people, wouldn't it? But there always seems to be about the same amount of people here. ...I-I could be wrong though.

[She looks a little thoughtful for a moment, and then she pulls out the photo album again and quickly runs her finger over the pictures, counting.]

U-Um. It isn't an exact count, since I don't have pictures of everyone yet, but...I started this in January and I have twenty-nine so far. And out of that many, seven people have gone home since then, as far as I know.

[For those playing along at home that's just under a 25% disappearance rate, but Tohru isn't that great at math.]

[ neither is finnick very good at maths. all he knows is, out of twenty-nine people, that's seven he doesn't have to kill — in an arena context, of course. wonderland is different to panem in every way possible, from it's shape to its scents to even its colours. finnick can't quite help but be incapable of shaking the thinking he's been trapped inside for weeks. ]

[ he ducks his head, brows furrowing, as he tries to digest the information. ] For every new week, we get another swarm of arrivals. But the same can't be said for those who leave. [ is he getting it? this entire world runs by a different set of rules than he's used to. he glances up. ] Willingly? I arrived unwillingly. [ and so, he assumes, has everyone else. ]

[ he's one of the new weekly arrivals. finnick, for all intents and purposes, is merely a statistic. he's never been one before; he knows mags will be. ]

Thank you! Ah, it's true though. People come and go very often here. There are some people who have been here a very long time, but others who disappear again after just a few weeks. It's...hard to tell, especially since we have no control over it.

[It's all Wonderland's doing, and they don't have much say in it at all.]

[Of course she's there. This isn't really a surprise at all, and Tohru is glad for it to be honest. It's wonderful to have Hana around now, even if they have to be in Wonderland for the time being.]

It really can be sometimes. I've been in Wonderland about a year now, and a lot of people have come and gone since then. I wish I had pictures of them all now...

[It's always hard when someone leaves, especially since they won't ever remember when they come back.]

[It takes Tohru a minute of staring at the text to realize what it could be referring to. But then, she remembers that strange event with all of the renovations and she gasps out loud before hurrying to reply.]

N-No, not at all! I think that diner from that event is gone now, but I swear this diner has never swapped anyone's bodies at all!

[She'd hate for someone to be wary about coming to the diner because they thought they wouldn't safely remain inside their own body there!]

[ dean's already at the diner, but she doesn't quite catch his attention until she starts talking to her device. the photo album idea... it's sweet in a way, even if normally everything about remembering the people here, or some such other kinda hallmark crap doesn't really fly with him. not in this place.

still, there's mild curiosity written on his face over it. ]

Do you, uh, have a lot of photos in there already?

[Honestly, Tohru hadn't noticed him either. Perhaps one of the others attended to him? Either that or he hasn't been served yet, in which case she is going to be absolutely mortified she was making a network post while someone was waiting to be served. But she looks up when he calls out to her, and answers politely.]

Mm-hm! I have just under thirty right now. It isn't everyone by any means, and some people have left since then, but...I'd like to have it be as complete as possible, if I can. That way it can be used as a resource if anyone needs it.

[But then she really gets a look at Dean and something clicks.

Oh! You're...Mr. Winchester, right?

[She recognizes him, but it isn't quite the instantaneous reaction some of the others have had. It's clear that even if she knew him, she didn't know him well - especially since she calls him "Mr. Winchester".]

[Armin actually wanders into the diner on pure coincidence, without seeing Tohru's post at all. He lives on the top floor, so once while passing through the 8th floor stairwell, he notices the light coming from the doors. His curiosity gets the best of him, and he surreptitiously peeks in.]

[What is this place? It looks kind of like a restaurant, but it's so far away from the kitchen on the main floor. He'd never heard of this before...]

[Tohru hears the door open and peeks over in that direction. When it's someone she doesn't recognize, she smiles and goes to greet them.]
