#001 Accidental Video [Open]
[It's a dream. Like a- a fever dream. Almost, but not quite, like some of the ones he'd had when he was in the hospital after Alice had... yeah. Not a good time.
But that had been so long ago and he'd never had a dream with such clarity. He can feel the breeze and the sun as he walks through gardens that definitely don't exist in Abel. It looks sort of like one of the stately homes his mum had taken them to visit once. The weather is that not quite real level of perfect summer that you get maybe for one or two days in England. Absolute torture when you're trapped in a boring university lecture.
The device, clutched loosely in his hand, records the ground, snippets of the scenery as he walks.
Wait... are you really supposed to know that you're dreaming?
It's that that makes him pause and really actually consider what's going on. Five. Where was... oh god. Oh god no. Five.
The face that appears on the phone is confused and close to panic. He's not sure why a mobile phone is even working but... it's worth a try. He has to get home! Runner Five needs him.]
Uh... hi? I dunno where this is 'cause I'm pretty sure New Canton tore down their ornamental gardens to plant potatoes or something but I really really need to contact Abel Township.
I mean, if that's even possible although if there's a mobile phone there's got to be a radio. I hope.
Just... someone's life is on the line and I have to help them.
