Have ghosts ever happened before? I thought when everyone died they just came back.
It was the first time that I've died here. I don't really know what it's supposed to be but I guess it wasn't what I expected.
I didn't expect to be a ghost.
Unless that was the horror part.
Has anyone been there before to know what else happens?

[Honestly, it'd be a little morbid to check in on every single group and do a head count on who had made it, who hadn't, and who was in the middle of dying from injuries or ridiculous ailments. No, thanks.

Then again, being a ghost is pretty morbid, too. He doesn't relish Quinn's Oregon Trail spirit walk.]

About as good as the food in the mansion when we got the closets back.

Not even Wonderland can make crappy restaurant food taste better, anyway.

[He's trying to cheer her up by saying she hadn't missed much.]

[Hey, they earned it. Adam thinks they're free to stuff their faces with as much as they want.]

That's the least you deserve. And the service in this diner is better.

If they don't feel like talking about it they won't beat around the bush. Can't hurt to ask.

[Being scooped up by a giant bird of prey is a little less normal, but still real.]

I think you're probably right. Quicker is better.

[Like ripping a bandaid off. Adam's mostly stopped being appalled that he's been reduced to the level of talking about human life in terms of a person's comfort level in how fast or slow they die, but it's reality now.]
