[Hey look, it's everyone's favorite walking talking cinnamon bun. His frog is sitting on his head.]

Guys, it's Valentine's Day! Even though the calendars are all weird and it's supposed to be like, I think, closer to Christmas maybe, I definitely didn't forget! Look, I made my Valentine's box already, so it's good to go!

[He holds up a shoebox with a hole cut into the top, just like the kind you make in elementary school. He's decorated it with red and pink construction paper, heart stickers and copious amounts of glitter. Listen, Valentine's Day is super important at this age, even if girls still have cooties. The amount of valentines you got in your box could determine your entire future.]

Hey, I've got a zillion valentines for everyone! And they're the good ones. They've got Spidermans and Batmans and stuff on 'em and also chocolates! The good stuff! So, if you guys but your valentines boxes out by your doors or somewhere, I can drop these all off. Even I can't eat all this chocolate, but I could totally try, but it would probably be bad for everyone. And I don't wanna eat 'em all! It's Valentine's Day, and that means giving out valentines and chocolates to everyone you care about. And I care about everyone here!

If any of you need help making a box, don't worry! I'm pretty much a valentine's box champion.

The calendars are funny? [Oddly enough, the date of Cami’s arrival to Wonderland had almost matched the date in her world exactly. So while she’s aware that people are of course pulled from all sorts of different months and years, it hasn’t clicked for her that Greg could be referring to a timeskip of his own—or the calendar of a different world entirely.]

I’m glad there is time. I’m going to have to make one myself. [Although her excuse isn’t that she forgot; rather, such boxes were things made by elementary school students rather than graduate level ones. But it seems like fun, and given all the effort Greg has gone through, Cami wants him to enjoy roaming the halls and dropping off treats.]

Yeah! It was supposed to be Halloween when we got here, but it was closer to Christmas, actually. So it got all messed up. I almost lost track of the holidays! But it's okay because I've got the hang of it now.

You are? Good! I'll make sure you get a really good valentine!

Good thing. I'd be missing out on a really good valentine if you hadn't. [Really, Greg is an adorable kid. He's bright, well-meaning, enthusiastic in a way that's absolutely infectious; between him and Wirt, it's not hard to imagine why someone would find themselves endeared to them.

And speaking of his older brother...] But you know, I bet Wirt needs a reminder that he should make a box. He might even need some help putting one together.

Don't worry! I made him two backup boxes, just in case he forgot to make one, cause he forgets sometimes. Wirt's gonna get tons and tons of valentines this time!

[She can’t quite keep herself from laughing at that; it seems that Greg does indeed know his brother, and is very prepared for any Valentine’s emergencies that might happen.]

I’m sure he’ll get some from a few very special people. [At least two in Cami’s estimation, although she hopes Greg’s broadcast inspires more. Even if Wirt hasn’t made that many friends here, it’s still nice to open such a box and find the random thoughts and good will of others—even ones unknown.]

So we should put our boxes just outside our rooms when we’re done making them, right?

Oh, I know he will! Wirt is a great person. Everyone likes him!

[And if they don't, they should! Because Wirt is great.]

Yeah! That way people will see them right away so they can just drop off their valentines easy!

[Greg, you are such a sweetheart. While Cami doesn't know if everyone likes Wirt, she certainly does. Given the chance she thinks others would too, but Wirt's anxiety no doubt means he hasn't taken the opportunity to meet as many people as Greg might think.]

He is pretty likable. I'm starting to think his younger brother is too.

[Although in entirely different ways.]

That sounds like a great system. So, just to make things a little easier, where should I look for yours and Wirt's boxes?

That's cause I'm great and adorable!

[What? It's true.]

We're both on the third floor. Wirt's in room, um, 18 and I'm in 19.

And confident to match. [She laughs with the reply; if she didn't already know Greg and Wirt were brothers, Cami never would be able to tell. She has to wonder about all the things in their upbringing that make them so different, although she does know there are more factors at play than just that. Still, it's hard to imagine how the pair could be any more dissimilar.]

Okay. My name's Cami, and I'm on the second floor in room six. [Not just to deliver Valentines, but also in case he needs help in the future.] It was very nice to meet you, Greg.

Yeah, it's important to have confidence.

[He has to be the confident one after all.]
