Guys, it's Valentine's Day! Even though the calendars are all weird and it's supposed to be like, I think, closer to Christmas maybe, I definitely didn't forget! Look, I made my Valentine's box already, so it's good to go!

[He holds up a shoebox with a hole cut into the top, just like the kind you make in elementary school. He's decorated it with red and pink construction paper, heart stickers and copious amounts of glitter. Listen, Valentine's Day is super important at this age, even if girls still have cooties. The amount of valentines you got in your box could determine your entire future.]

Hey, I've got a zillion valentines for everyone! And they're the good ones. They've got Spidermans and Batmans and stuff on 'em and also chocolates! The good stuff! So, if you guys but your valentines boxes out by your doors or somewhere, I can drop these all off. Even I can't eat all this chocolate, but I could totally try, but it would probably be bad for everyone. And I don't wanna eat 'em all! It's Valentine's Day, and that means giving out valentines and chocolates to everyone you care about. And I care about everyone here!

If any of you need help making a box, don't worry! I'm pretty much a valentine's box champion.

I'm sure lots of people will leave boxes out now that you've reminded us all. Still, maybe you could play it safe and leave a basket of chocolate for people in the kitchen too? That way even if they forget, they can still find a special surprise--and you wouldn't have to worry about eating all the candy yourself.

[Because if Greg is saying it'll be bad, she can only imagine how Wirt will worry.]

[The Pie Maker, who does not have particularly fond memories of his childhood, remembers Valentine's Day being a rather dull event at the Longborough School for Boys. While the bright, heart-shaped decorations were meant to invoke feelings of love and affection from those students lucky enough to sweethearts at other academies - or parents who would send them packages - they only ever served to make Ned remember how little he had.

[Wirt completely forgot about Valentine's Day to be honest, but Greg's right. It feels too early for Valentine's Day, just like it felt too early for Christmas and just like it was weird they skipped over Thanksgiving completely. It's been a few months, but Wirt can't shake the feeling. Of course, he's also at the age where Valentine's Day isn't important unless you have someone you're hopelessly in love with and watch from behind a fence at the football games while she does her mascot routine because you can't work up the nerve to go watch her from the stands like a normal person.

Nope. Wirt definitely doesn't have someone like that. And even if he did, she's not here so he still had no reason to remember it until now.]
