[It's very rare that Rose graces the network in Wonderland, only having appeared once since she arrived here. That in and of itself makes this particular video rather curious. The subject at hand, likely one that's playing on everyone's mind but has Rose looking more than a little unsettled, despite her attempts to play at casual.

Clearly, she thinks the best way to deal right now, is to attempt to overdose on sugar; A plate piled high with an assortment of pastries, appearing in the corner of the shot.]

So... That whole thing with the Wonderland that wasn't really Wonderland?

[Her eyes narrow, teeth running over her lower lip as she carefully considers what she wants to say before giving it voice.]

We're all in agreement that it didn't really mean anything, right? It was just some, fake, alternate... you know, thing?

[She's obviously reaching but all this 'sciencey crap' is way outside of Rose's wheelhouse.]

Another one of Wonderland's stupid little mind games. [The unmistakable air of somebody trying to convince herself.

Rose breaks off a large chunk of a donut and pops it into her mouth, a flicker of doubt creeping in as she chews slowly.]

Maybe? [Nose wrinkling.] It would help if I had any clue what that word meant.

[She's desperate enough to figure this out that she's on board with a level of overshare. Also she stupidly thinks this is private.]

You mean "euphemistically"? [Well okay, that's fine.] I meant, when you say "do," do you mean having sex with someone.

[Rose's vocabulary is about as wide-ranging as her good eating habits.]

Right. [A beat.] Yes. [Wait.] But by me, I mean, not me, me. There was somebody who suggested that was something we do only... there's no way I would ever do anything with him.

If you forgot everything about home, would you?

[Souji had figured out at least that much about the people in the dreamworld.]

No. He's like... The Devil.

[Yeah she's not being as metaphorical as that sounds.]

[Metaphorical or not, Souji gets the picture.]

Are you worried that the you he remembered was doing that?

He... didn't really leave a whole lot of room for room for interpretation.

Is it any consolation that that you doesn't exist?

... Y-es? Assuming you know. Mind games and not... I don't even want to consider the alternative.

It was worse for some people than others, yeah.

[He shrugs. His other self seems to have just been pretty happy, which isn't that bad a change.]

From what I could tell, that was just us with no memories of home.

[This would be the disturbing part for Rose. Her other self also seemed to be pretty happy and that in no way computed.]

What - so... our minds get wiped and we turn into... that? [Her face a comical mask of confusion and horror.] No way, they had to like... twist things and just make it seem like it's us with no memories of home.

It would take a long time. Most of the memory loss is tied to events, right? So to forget everything about home, imagine how many events you'd have to have.

[It isn't that he's not worried about the possibility - the whole experience was eerie and foreboding, and really only made worse by the sleep deprivation. But from his own experience, it isn't something to panic about. Hence his rather neutral response, despite her obvious horror at the whole thing.

Still, there's some melancholy in his expression. After all, he knows this from experience.]

[You can practically see this ticking over in Rose's head, the slow dawning of something that until now, she'd never really allowed herself to consider.]

So... [Really hoping he's going to contradict her here.] You mean, you think what we saw was our future?

Not necessarily. [He'd like to give a categorical "no," but he can't.] But I think the people we were in that future could be us in a long, long time, if we're still here.

I'd take it with a grain of salt, though.

[Not to worry. Rose is just going to latch onto the one thing Souji said that she actually wanted to hear.]

Okay, good. Besides, I really don't plan on being here that long. [Like you have a choice.] Or dying that many times.

[Again. Like you have a choice. In theory, eventually? It could be inevitable but Rose much prefers her narrow yet comforting view of things.]

Dying isn't quite related, but that's usually more avoidable than the memory loss, at least.

[Granted, of the three times he's died, he was murdered twice, so saying that death if avoidable here should also be taken with a grain of salt.]

How is not related?

[Yeah here's the thing about Rose. She tunes out any time people start explaining how things work, unless she actually wants to know so there's an i>awful lot about Wonderland that she's yet to comprehend.]

You don't forget things when you die. It's mostly through events.

[He's hoping he correctly understood her misunderstanding.]

That's not what everyone else says. [Not that she's speaking from personal experience here.] You die a whole bunch and then you start losing memories... or... no? Cause, that's the kind of thing I'd like to know for sure after... all of that.

After you die a fifth time you lose something. But I don't think it has to be memories.

[Maybe an example will help?]

I've died three times, but I've only lost memories from events.

Well... somebody else just told me that somebody here died a fifth time and they vanished for good so.

I'm not normally big on rules but this would be one of those times when some clarity on that front would be nice.

Do you know who the person was? I know someone who died five times, but he definitely didn't vanish.

The one who disappeared? No. You'd have to ask the kid about that.

[She says like... there's only one of them?!]

The not Dipper one. [That still doesn't help much, Rose.]

What happened to your friend?

Not Dipper one...? [Yeah, no, Rose, that does not help much.] Is it the one dressed as a gnome?

[Souji doesn't really know either of them well, but he at least know who they are.]

Philip? He lost his voice.

Uhh... [No not that one.] The one asking about girls breasts a while back.

[That wasn't entirely what happened but, close enough for Henry to perhaps spring to mind.

But he got it back though... right? [Rose, no.]
